djchapsticks
Just watched this hour long appreciation show on BBC1 for the 90th birthday of Sir David Attenborough and the overriding though is that an hour of this guy on telly isn't nearly enough to cover him and his career. His stories, anecdotes, tidbits of information and travels are and have been captivating. A brilliant hour of telly with the only black mark being that horrible c**t Cameron wishing him a happy birthday. The word legend is overused, but in his case doesn't seem to quite cover the magnitude of what he's done in his life, adequately.

MuckleMoo
Will be utterly gutted when he finally kicks the bucket. Grown up watching him on the TV. Everything he does (I have to give the BBC credit as well) is gold

keptie
The film of him with the wild gorillas was just incredible, one of them could've very easily snapped him in half, great man and still humble,he's lived a life alright
atfccfc
My love of watching documentaries comes from him describing in that wonderful voice how the Wildebeest that has wondered from the safety of the pack is about to to be eaten alive by a lion! ecto
Really don't rate him to be honest. Cannot understand the fascination. Properly this says more about you than him, the man is a living legend and long may he carry on, you can go back to CBBC, the grownups will continue to watch Attenborough as long as we can
MONKMAN
Probably the only 'celebrity' that'll truly devastate me when he kicks it. An absolute legend of a man who's utterly peerless.
Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Funnily enough was watching him this afternoon, about the Galapagos Islands. Fascinating stuff. Do you think he'll live longer than Lonesome George?
King Kebab
Great programme that should have been on longer than one hour!!! Was actually fuming when Gregory Porter was wheeled on to sing at the end, I couldn't help but think that that was 3-4 minutes being used up by that balaclava wearing tit that Sir David could have been talking for!!!
