Offensive Behaviour at Football Act cave in.

I have watched football in Dundee for over 50 years and have, thankfully, never witnessed sectarianism from supporters of either Dundee club.

The idea that there is a Protestant/catholic divide is preposterous.

This ^^.

Members of the same family will follow both teams - my Grandad and uncle's were/are all United fans - my Dad was the Dundee fan in the family. My Grandad (RIP) used to watch both teams every other week during the 50s.

If I can wade into the incest discussion for a second:

People don't have to have an ideologically rigid vision of the world. You can believe that consenting adults should generally be allowed to do as they want. You can also believe that certain actions are so repugnant to our society that they should be banned. This is the way most people look at the world. They don't view every single issue through a consistent liberal/libertarian/socialist/racist/fascist/whatever prism in order to decide what they believe. There's nothing wrong with this. It is normal. The weird people are the ones who can't get past the logic, "We believe that consenting adults should be allowed to do as they please so go ahead and f**k your sister. It's your life. More power to you." The end result of this extreme logic is that 50 year old Canadian man who left his family to be adopted by another family and live as a transgender 6 year old girl.

Not sure if serious?

You're the one advocating that we remove the current provisions and revert to the 'good old days' of erm, sectarianism loud and proud at every single large match. So needless to say that your Helen Lovejoy impersonation isn't going to cut it - particularly when Murdo Fraser, Tomkins etc. largest party backing the repeal campaign will be lapping up every minute of it.

Until you answer any of the previous points put to you, I think we can safely treat your views as an irrelevance.

I look forward to seeing OBAFATCSA successfully prosecute every single Rangers fan that didn't commit any other public order offence but sang the Billy Boys today.

Oh wait.

That's not even remotely going to happen.

That's a bad law. Right there.

Talk about false conscienceness.

My 50 year knowledge of both clubs is that both sides attracts a Rangersy element and Dens Park was pretty open about it.

Are people claiming this law is working watching the Cup Final?

25,000 fans belting out "sad f*nian b*stard"

I thought Ad Lib's position on this was that it was all perfectly fine. Seeing him defend the likes of Adam Tomkins, who is himself becoming a DUP-style lunatic is of no surprise at all.

You accuse me of 'false conscienceness', I accuse you of talking shite.
