Gianfranco
13 appearances for Wycombe this season. I hope he can dribble Gboly style. It’s what the fans want. It’s what we need.

Appreciate Motherwell choosing a different victim in this transfer window. If you could us avoid in the next one aswell it would be appreciated.

Know nothing about Aaron but I suspect he will come in and tear up the league. nsr
I checked, lads, and unfortunately it's not an anagram of Cristiano Ronaldo. But can I assume we'll be signing Victor Moses to play alongside him? Make it happen, Burrows. Edited January 31, 2020 by nsr
RandomGuy.
Assume this deal, plus Hull selling Bowen just there, means the Scott to Hull transfer is #imminent?

wellfan09
Have to say I wasn’t fully on the Scott hype train so not overly disappointed by him leaving especially for decent money. Hopefully he can prove me wrong and kick on and earn us a decent sell on though.

wellboy1991
I’m pretty gutted about losing James. Think he’s a cracking big player who will only get better. He is only 19 and hopefully will develop into a £5m+ player down there to get us a nice wee lift down the line as personally I think £1m is poor for him.
capt_oats
So in summary: IN: Mikael Ndjoli (loan - Bournemouth) Rolando Aarons (loan - Newcastle) OUT: Devante Cole (end of loan) Casper Sloth (contract mutually terminated) James Scott (transfer Hull City - £1.5m) Contracts extended: Trevor Carson - 2022 Liam Grimshaw - 2022 Ross MacIver - 2021 So we're up by our 3rd highest fee received (behind O'Donnell and McFadden) and have retained Carson, Gallagher, Polworth, Donnelly, Campbell, Turnbull under contract until summer at least. I suppose the value of moving big JS on is what we're actually able to do with that cash in terms of "protecting our assets" and what not. I'd guess that the £80k of soft loans/internal debt that was still outstanding will be cleared so Scott is the transfer that's officially made Motherwell debt free. I like him and think he’s a decent player on his day but he’s very very frustrating and we’ve got a lot of money for him and arguably signed someone better so it’s cracking business in my eyes.

Was about to say this. The bigger picture is no debt and a decent cash buffer. Very much in the black. I like him and he has potential, but objectively Scott isn't all that integral to the way we play and hopefully the loan boy fills the gap for the rest of the push for 3rd. Losing Gallagher or a Polworth would be a bigger dent to our aspirations this season IMO. Edited January 31, 2020 by Richie
wellboy1991
Poor is a harsh word from me to be fair. £1m is great cash, just think in today’s climate we could have doubled that. I just rate him very highly.
