Going further back, John Hendry was a 1st team squad player at Spurs that we signed permanently - apparently only kept out the team by the fact the Klinsmann and Sheringham were in front of him. Genuinely, one of the worst forwards we ever had.

If his contract finishes Nov 30th then he's just technically dossing about without club eh? I see @rowsdower and @Busta Nut have already answered but we can sign free agents if they were without a club when the window shut. Blaney was still with Sligo at that point. As Busta says we can sign him just now but we can't register him until the window opens on January 1st.
Swello
Is Blaney not just on the same timetable as Tierney was? ie - signed at the end of the Irish season but not "official" in Scotland until the window flaps open.

Pretty much, aye. I was reading an article about him just there and it mentioned that Bevis is injured, then I remembered a November photo dump Mugabi posted on his IG where his knee looked to be in a brace with a pair of crutches. I know the Blaney story has been around for a while but if Mugabi's injured that basically leaves us with 2 centre backs.

Mark Connolly
Excellent work on that jersey from Motherwell, both the design and the message. As a mark of appreciation, I'll refrain from calling you lot c***s until Tam Cowan mentions the 91 Cup Final again.

I've got a weird feeling he actually scored twice in that game - but I think I was in Robbie's Bar in Leith Walk by that point.

Obviously, we want revenge for what happened in 1970.

Swello
I can confirm that the new luminous top looks brilliant in real life - not normally a buyer of strips but I like the charity angle, so....

Good to know. Ordered online yesterday. I tend to buy only 1 strip (plus training tops) per season but the Charity angle is and was a nice touch . Hopefully will sell a good few more as a result. Worthy causes…. I am quite interested to see how we get on tomorrow v Spurs. I am unable to watch online but is anyone on here buying the stream ? Not seen anything official from the club . I assume a full 90 minutes ? If so and we keep it to less than 5 against it will be a moral victory Edited December 8, 2022 by welldaft

Be interesting to see how strong they line up. someone mentioned it earlier as well, might be a chance to build some sort of relationship, might have a few youngsters looking to ship out on loan. will watch if I can.

Yes I read they will not be including any of the players that went too and are still at the World Cup. Which is a full team of stars and then some. Still a Spurs 2nd string would possibly challenge for honours in Scotland so will still be a stiff test. Especially since they have a chance to impress Conte v the pride of Lanarkshire
