Killie are set to appoint Tommy Wright today according to the BBC. I’m not sure if it’s the right Tommy Wright or the wrong Tommy Wright.

I hope it's the wrong Tommy Wright . If it's the right Tommy Wright , he'll be out on Wednesday to right a wrong in his own mind , and prove to Motherwell that they were wrong in not appointing the right Tommy Wright instead of Alexander.

on the game itself , a win would be massive , but under the circumstances a draw would be far from a disaster.

It has to be 3-0 to right a wrong

Anyone see the SIWY fanzine page post about Bob Park?

Just read it (what I assume you're talking about). Is it really the case that our own "safety manager" has actively pushed for supporters to be prosecuted over and above what the police would have normally done if left to their own devices? Would be interested to hear the club view (and it could be a good AGM question) but that doesn't sound proportionate or sensible.

My instinct is that unless the police are actively pushing for prosecutions (which is their prerogative), that we should  look to deal with stuff "in-house" in every case possible. If that means that folk get a few games on the naughty step or whatever for going too far, I think that's ok but banning people completely should be a total last resort.

If acting like a wee dick at the fitba  was a banning offence previously, there would be far less 'Well Da's in attendance these days :)

Think other than Park the issue seems to be that the offenders have been cleared legally but the club still have their bans in place.

I have never had dealings with park but he sounds like a guy used to getting his own way and seems to live up to the old ex copper who can't let it go type guy.

So you're saying there can be some positives taken from this?
