As many competitive fights a weekend as possible, 3 points for correct method and 1 point for correct winner? Boostin' Kev
I'll take part. To begin with we should maybe have a bit of a midweek consensus about what fights are included, there's a lot of good stuff on Friday nights for example that can go under the radar along with non English speaking broadcasts. If people taking part don't know the fighters involved they can still take a guess (and will probably get it right at least as often as those that do know the fighters tbh). It'll also encourage people to search out fights they might not have otherwise watched which is good for discussion on the thread. Great point.
Super_A
I'll get a separate thread setup up later on. I was thinking about 5 points for correct method and 2 for correct winner. Competitive fights only. Any input form people would be great. The Deglae-Jack card would be the first week.

The Chlamydia Kid
Don't want too much obscure stuff though becomes too time consuming to keep up with watching it. A couple of high profile fights per weekend seems fair enough or else it becomes a bit of a lottery?
NorthernJambo
I prefer it be the higher profile and predominately British fights as that's what I know but I'm happy to take a guess and half hoping I'll be less lazy and take more interest!

It's a 50/50 at worst!
The Chlamydia Kid
ow can it be a lottery? It's a 50/50 at worst! Becomes a series of ill informed guesses rather than genuine predictions. There is usually a card a week that is high enough profile that most will have an opinion on the headline fights.

Then surely this benefits the more informed boxing fan and will expose the "casual" fans out there on P&B? I personally don't claim to have even half the knowledge of some Posters on here but am willing to have a go......why not you?
Fraser Fyvie
Maybe it could be done based on the odds as otherwise people could just predict the most likely outcome every fight and probably end up doing well.
pittsburgh phil
I think where you'd rack up the points is in things like round prediction, points/KO/TKO prediction etc...

Disco30
Sounds a great idea , would like to take part also. I'm in the same boat as northern jambo some fights go under the radar due to laziness but the more boxing to be viewed the better IMO !

Just think it would be better if we weren't making predictions on 20 fights a week if most of them wouldn't be on Boxnation, Sky or Bt.

I'm only interested in predictions on Eddie's shows and only in the fights after the crowd have sung 'Sweet Caroline'. I'm sure all the virgins who have a spreadsheets updating their favourite Japanese bantamweights will be raging but we've got to cater for normal people.
