dundeefc1783
Pretty poor that a card featuring two of the UK’s best fighters and one of them being a world champion isn’t on TV
Shandon Par
Sky's Adam Smith said a couple of months back he'd like to have Taylor on Sky. DAZN are showing it in the USA. Someone smarter than me may work out a way of convincing your operating system that you are in America...
kiddy
Pretty poor that a card featuring two of the UK’s best fighters and one of them being a world champion isn’t on TV I know it's a big ask but could BBC Scotland & NI not sneak a joint bid in for coverage? Likewise STV/Ulster.
Neilly
No. The WBSS won't sell the fights individually. You have to buy the whole series which obviously puts every broadcaster off. I can't understand how this model is sustainable in all honesty.

Looks like streaming it will be the only available option then?
Neilly
If it's available on the WBSS YouTube page then it's an easy cast to smart TV but don't think they have officially confirmed anything which is a bit shambolic.
Shandon Par
Watched a bit of Prograis v Flanagan. Really don’t see too much to trouble Taylor considering Prograis is the top seed. Nice boxing skills but Josh is a much more imposing fighter.
Cowshed Chris
Taylor fight is on DAZN which we can’t get here legally. Very odd that it isn’t being shown here

kiddy
Looks like DAZN have GGG painted into a corner.Sounds as if Canelo is on for a match with Jacobs, on Cinco De Mayo, after Fielding. Whilst they want to match GGG with Andrade, before any 3rd fight between the Khazak & Mexican.

Detournement
The fighters will make more money on PPV. Why should Chisora and Whyte take less than they their market value?

Bairnardo
Did you watch the first fight? Entertainment between two fighters of that calibre doesnt make a box office fight IMO. I would never dream of paying extra to watch a main event with such little talent on show. Just because they slug it out doesnt make it a fight worth paying for.
Detournement
Whether you pay for it is neither here nor there. Lots of people will because it's guaranteed entertainment (unlike something like Frampton vs Selby). The point is if Chisora has choice between £800,000 on normal Sky and £2,000,000 on PPV why would he take less? These guys are putting their health on the line, they are correct to grab every single penny they can.

Ah the old, consumers of the product in boxing have no right to complain about anything because health bullshit
