J_Stewart
Cannot see any way that this fight goes the distance. Great start from Warrington, but could see Lara landed in the second half of the round and Warrington noticeably tightened up a little.Great first round. Can see fireworks.

That cut could stop it. was it ruled intentional?
J_Stewart
No contest. What a shame, looked for all the world it was going to be an outstanding fight.Didn’t think the clash was intentional. Do think that Lara may have knocked Warrington out late though as he was doing some great body work.
kiddy
Going by what I saw, a s much as Warrington had tightened his defence, I think Lara has his number.
Super_A
Nothing worse than a fight being stopped on a cut, pure shite.
Guest
Deffo think Lara has his number and there won't be a third fight. Interesting the lack of activity round the supposed Oct 9th Wilder Fury fight, anyone confident it goes ahead ? If not whats next for each of them ?

I read something about Warren cancelling a show in the UK which would have been a lead in on BT prior to the PPV. I don't think Fury ever intended to fight in the summer so I don't think this will happen either.

Was meant to be the Lyndon Arthur vs Anthony Yarde rematch and Arthur's not happy with terms apparently.

Wee-Bey
Aye, a guy who has had 6 fights in the last 5 years is definitely going to fight 5 times in the next 14 months.

The correct time to start paying attention to Tyson Fury when it comes to fighting is about 3 minutes from the ringwalk. He just tweets absolute shite for the fun of it. He is clearly, for reasons I understand and accept, a man who doesn't see himself as beholden to fans or media and just does whatever he wants.
ICTChris
Building up to a trilogy fight with Chisora I like watching Chisora but come on.
Detournement
Compulsive liars tend to make the lies bigger and bigger the more stressed they are so Fury is maybe feeling pressure over his inactivity. On the positive side Showtime and BT have started promoting the fight so it looks like it's officially on. There is something endearing about Wilder's brand of idiocy. Just a guy from Alabama doing his own thing.
kiddy
Wilder/Fury doesn't take place & I can see the WBC stripping him of the title.

I love him.
Ludo*1
The Holyfield vs Belfort bout was embarrassing as you'd expect. Holyfield was floored within a minute. Got back up and didn't look to be in any sort of real bother, but wasn't punching back whilst Vitor was swinging wildly and then the ref stepped in and stopped it. Eta: Holyfield looked nowhere near it though and unless he grew into it massively, it was heading for a stoppage at some point. He was, from the opening bell, one punch away from being hurt. Absolitely all over the place and its now clear he has no business in a licensed fight. A coked up ODLH would have made for an even worse car crash though.
Derry Alli
Holyfield should never have been cleared to fight. The pre match interviews of his are alarmingly sad.
The Moonster
What sort of testing gets carried out for these events? Belfort is a cheating c**t and it wouldn't have surprised me if he was juicing for that fight, as silly as that would sound. I don't bother watching these fights as they're a shambles, but I did enjoy watching Anderson Silva absolutely melt Tito Ortiz with one punch on Youtube this morning.
kiddy
So long as there are media companies willing to put on PPV & shmucks that pay for them. Then there will always be a place for the Circus in town.Suckers, there's one born every minute.
