Not sure if it's been confirmed anywhere but a dodgy news feed.

Hopefully it's bullshit and he pulls through.

Absolutely. Praying that the rumours of him passing are false. Evening Times now reporting it as well now.

Tommy Gilmour has just reached the hospital - I can confirm that as of right now Mike Towell is still fighting. In a bad way but alive.

Was posted an hour ago by a pal of his that went to his school

Well that is good news then.

Know a couple of guys who had been in the gym with him before this fight who had told me at 9 o clock this morning they were expecting the worst.

Not long after he claiming he's lost the plot hmmmmmm

And not actually hospitalised for depression at all despite his fans desperate on here to keep the 'world class' description going. Another perspective would be he can't fight klitch again because he's scared to have to wee into a bottle.

Yeah he died at 11:02 when the family were told by hospital staff that keeping the life support on wasnt going to help. Absolutely brutal but he had had headaches etc for 3 weeks prior to the fight. The swelling and bruising on his brain was that bad that the swelling basically crushed his brain.

Horrific news, by all accounts a very nice guy and a good fighter.

If this is true why was he allowed to fight? Was he struggling to make the weight in the run up to the fight?

Like you say though, horrific news. RIP

He'd battled on for 12 hours after the life support was switched off.

Medically this is not unexpected as he was a young, healthy, fit man with strong internal organs, particularly his heart.
