They got an increase in season tickets thanks to the FCU mainly. They continue to make utterly stupid decisions without putting real thought into it. Unfortunately the story regarding this has been shared many, many times. It was an act of cheek and opportunism by our temporary tenants which was rectified by our board very quickly and shown not to be part of the T&Cs of the lease. The sign was gone by that afternoon.

They'll just say to the FCU to repaint it again. I'm really struggling to see any logic in this decision, financially or otherwise. We'd get c7k under the old arrangements and with this, what 8k max. So an extra 1k fans at £30 a head and when the 50% cut to Rangers, about 15k. Will be more than offset by fans not bothering with other games. Even if saints cared about the reaction, (suspect they dont), given it is out there, they will be unable to reverse this decision. Maybe it is a ploy to get the East seats replaced as half of them are ready for the skip, so a strong fart by a Rangers fan would break them and they'd have to pay for them.

SJFCtheTeamForMe
The irony in all of this is, is they'll probably be asking for volunteers to go down and help tidy up the stadium on the Monday. Considering it myself Good Evening, As you might’ve guessed my email is in relation to the recent news regarding the Scottish cup tie versus Rangers. As a long standing fan, I’m left simply baffled by the decision to go back on the clubs word in relation to allocation for old firm sides. The fans reaction tonight is a mixture of rage, sadness and frustration. This is on 2 fronts, both the cost, and the seating allocation. I’ll outline my thoughts below. I simply cannot understand why a charge of £30.00 per adult and £20.00 per concession has been raised. A family of 2 adults and 2 children would cost £100.00. This is an insane cost in January. It’s even more insane when our own fan groups are one of the louder voices in the twenty’s plenty campaign. Secondly, why is it viewed acceptable for Rangers to have 3 stands for a 17:30 kick off? Many buses will be travelling loaded with drink and drugs from all over Scotland. It’s a recipe for disaster. A brief scan on social media shows some of their fans are gleefully planning vandalism of our ground. This is the same group that recently caused distress to a worker in the away end. Everytime it feels like the fan base is growing organically a decision is made that annoys or irritates it. In the last 12 months I can think of a few examples. This is one of the strangest in a long time however. I note the decision was made by consulting fan groups and police. Strathearn saints have confirmed they received no communication and will now not attend. I also understand that members of the FCU also confirmed they’ve received no approach regarding this decision. Whilst I support and love this club, I cannot support this decision. As such I will not be in attendance on matchday. Glances online suggest the majority of our fans are in agreement, wether that’s people mouthing of for the sake of it or not, I guess we’ll find out on the 21st. I appreciate this email might not have been the most pleasant reading, but as a supporter I feel it is only right to speak up when I am in disagreement with a decision that impacts our own fans. Kind Regards,
Trackdaybob
What a fucking shit show Letting that vermin infect the stadium in such numbers is a sad state of affairs. Again.

GroundHoppingBear
If you can’t sell your tickets to your fans then it’s only right that tickets go to Rangers fans. While Scottish clubs are struggling for money, no one that wants a ticket should be locked out a stadium if they are available. -

We changed this season back to a "one stand for bigots" rule and attendance in one of the games was marginally down and in the other marginally up. The argument that it ensures bigger attendances is fundamentally flawed.

Its abysmal that clubs think its acceptable to charge that much, but as long as Rangers/Celtic fans just mindlessly pay it and sell out clubs will continue to do it.
