The Saintee
At least Considine and Crawford are gone so some of the Davidson stench is away. We'll always have that trapped ball at Tynie to cling to.

RandomGuy.
You wonder if Sprangler being out of contract, and uncertain to get a work permit, swayed then towards offering MacPherson too? In terms of "deep" midfielders it's pretty much just them two and Phillips in the squad, so losing all 3 in one window something they'll have wanted to avoid.

The Saintee
Good news about Sprangler. Hopefully he stays fit and keeps MacPherson out the side.

He's photographed in his new deal announcement standing in the same spot in the East Stand wearing the kit. Widge
Delighted that Sven has signed on again, not least cause I don’t need to change my profile picture now! But I think he was coming onto a good game when he was in the squad and showing what he was bringing to the team. At least you know he’ll tracker runners and be combative on the ball and give a good platform to play out. He isn’t flashy but you know he’s solid and dependable which frankly we missed in the middle when he wasn’t playing with the rest of our powderpuff options last year.
RandomGuy.
Aye Sprangler is another good extension. Squad wise we're starting to look like it's a case of quality over numbers in a lot of positions now, whereas last season it was trying to get both.

We've got numbers but now it's about making sure there's quality.

That's if those who've been offered a new deal accept the offers. That's not a dead cert for all of them.

The Real Saints
Taylor Steven also.
RandomGuy.
One of Gordon or McGowan, Wright, and Steven is about perfect IMO. Then you can look for quality starters everywhere but in goal and up front.
Theyellowbox
Interesting that Phillips hasn't been confirmed as signing for anyone else, yet... Fully expect him to be away, but sort of dispels the notion that a PCA had been signed elsewhere. He will have been offered a contract, if for nothing other than protecting the development fee. I'm liking that we are doing things a bit earlier the season, rather than the mess of last season. Bar CB and LB, we could probably put out a decent side based on what we know to be confirmed.
Kyle
Carey's 11 goal contributions won't be easy to replace either. Especially if McPherson is back on the set pieces.
