Paris Hilltoon
I heard that just for lolz, he's gonna take 17. Then give it back to its rightful owner once he arrives

Kyle
Starting the season away to Celtic and having to play all of last season's top 5 in the first 6 games. Suppose you have to beat these teams if we're going to win the league. Edited June 21, 2019 by Kyle
scottmcleanscontacts
Tough start for Saints. Obviously have to play everyone etc etc etc but first 6 are horrible.
Widge
That’ll be a Sunday game you’d imagine with Celtic probably still in Europe (maybe!). Not that bothered about them now that Lennon’s in charge. It’s the game at Easter Road that spells trouble if Heckingbottom gets his signings right. Then again our record there is excellent. Edit - the one positive is, that if the 6/7 midweek games scheduled, 2/3 of them are away from home, so a bonus for season ticket holders and the club for revenue.
The Real Saints
A dreadful fixture list in general. An away match against Celtic to kick things off. Five of our six opening matches are against last season's top six sides. Not long after that, we play seven fixtures against last season's top six in close succession (plus Motherwell, the best-performing bottom six team outwith ourselves) between the end of October and mid-December. Absolutely dire. And the Christmas/New Year fixtures are an utter non-event. Bring on the new season. I'm buzzing for it.
tree house tam
Hibs on the last weekend of the festival is a thing of beauty.

The Celtic game will most probably be on a Saturday as the Champions league qualifying is played on a Tuesday and Wednesday so they would not play Sunday - Tuesday . It also looks like Kilmarnock v Rangers has already been selected for TV (or they are working on the basis that one of them will make the Europa 3 qualifying round ) as its already been scheduled for the Sunday. Its the norm that each team gets half the midweek games at home and half away.
PauloPerth
Celtic always seem to get a team the league feel will be cannon fodder in the opener to ensure they enjoy their flag raising celebrations. We must be due a result against them after being their plaything last year. Hasn't Tommy got a great record against Neil Lennon in the league though? The opening home match with Livi looks like a bit of a must win already in amongst that tough run. When you look at our festive fixtures you do miss a Dundee, Dunfermline etc for a local opponent and a big crowd.

Yes looking back Lennon was still Celtic manager in Tommy's first season in charge which is where the 3 defeats came. For some reason I thought Lennon was away that summer and there was no overlap. 13 minutes ago, Widge said: Never beat him as the Hibs manager though, only team he faced in the top league that, that was the case with. I'll just have to hang onto this one going through to Celtic in the first game. Despite being routinely rolled over by them last season, we did get 2 draws there the season before, as I clutch those straws even tighter!

He is a winger or right sided midfield. he played right midfield when he arrived relegating Croft and Hasslebaink to the bench. When he returned on loan he played wide left. If we are calling wingers forwards then Kennedy etc are also forwards. Quoting MOH as a forward is in my opinion nonsense, we need a forward and him out wide.
