No i didn’t imply that at all actually. What i was alluding to was Police Scotland being a major part of the decision making on the grounds of safety. If Rangers do accept the tickets as they have a right to do it just signifies fan safety isn’t really as important to them as previously claimed which is odd considering how critical they were of the police a year ago Edited July 28, 2023 by Jinky67

It was Rangers’ decision following Celtic’s refusal to take tickets for Ibrox. If you are implying that the Police would stop Rangers taking their ticket allocation at Celtic Park due to safety concerns then that negates Celtic’s whole argument if they are refusing to take tickets for Ibrox on safety grounds. How can they demand that we ensure the safety for visiting support if they themselves can’t do the same? If you employ a simple rhetorical device of ‘pure Rangers scum, Celtic angels’ then it’s easy.

AJF
Quite positive to see the extent of the rebuild that Beale has overseen thus far. It may not end up being a successful side but we got the refresh in the squad that we asked for

We've been demanding a refresh for a while now. As you say, there's no guarantee that it will be successful, but I don't think any Rangers fan can complain that Beale hasn't been backed to rebuild the squad. I'd like to see a left sided defender come in, but other than that, we seem to have got every player that we have gone in for.
bennett
Looks good on paper and hopefully the new guys gel quickly. The squad is looking stronger than last season.

We will just need to wait and see if that closes the gap to Celtic, which will likely be influenced by how much they spend as well. Left back is definitely the next position that should be looked at, along with another CB I reckon. I think Yilmaz has potential to grow into that role, but Barasic’s horror show the other night has me worried about our depth there.
