bennett
RANGERS can today confirm Robby McCrorie has joined Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock for an undisclosed fee. The goalkeeper, who came through Rangers Academy, made his senior debut for the club in August 2021 against Alashkert in the UEFA Europa League. His Scottish Premiership debut followed just a few days later, as he kept another clean sheet in a 1-0 Old Firm derby victory. The 26-year-old also spent time on loan at Berwick Rangers, Greenock Morton, Queen of the South and Livingston. Robby leaves Rangers with the best wishes of everyone at Ibrox and Rangers Training Centre.
KnightswoodBear
Can't blame McCrorie for moving on. He really should have been #1 somewhere for a few years now and he's never getting that chance at Rangers when McGregor and now Butland are there. If Butland leaves, we are absolutely fucked though.
bennett
A 2 year deal would suggest that he plans on getting a bigger move soon, a good deal for Robbie and Killie. Imo he's probably better than Kelly.

I can’t remember the last time I saw a club report a fee, when Ajax signed Bassey, maybe.

Indeed there are no Rangers or Queens Park clashes post QP at City Stadium (except Europa League dates) until 23rd Nov. That's a bit of good luck

bennett
Surely they must know how long it will take to fix the Copland and get the pitch ready, waiting till the end of month isn't treating fans well. RANGERS can confirm that it is in the final stages of negotiations with the Scottish FA to secure Hampden Park as its temporary home until the Ibrox works are complete. Chairman John Bennett has issued the following statement: “First I’d like to apologise on behalf of the club for the uncertainty that this delayed project has caused to our season ticket holders, hospitality clients, partners and the wider support of this football club. "The number of variables in this situation has made it extremely difficult to bring the one thing we all crave – certainty. “Nevertheless, we are closing in on the most immediate solution - a suitable venue at which to fulfil our fixtures and house our support. "While the ongoing delay means that the club is unable to fix a date for our return to Ibrox, we anticipate that this will become clearer upon delivery of the necessary materials to Glasgow. “Rangers thanks the Scottish FA and the SPFL for their strong support in working to this solution. “The club wholeheartedly appreciates the continued patience of our supporters while we work through this most trying of situations. “I intend to give a fuller, personal update by the end of July.”
AJF
Some more information provided in an email sent out by the club: Quote RANGERS can confirm that it is in the final stages of negotiations with the Scottish FA to secure Hampden Park as its temporary home until the Ibrox works are complete. Supporters will also be able to purchase tickets for European and any domestic cup games scheduled to be played at Hampden. The club can confirm the continuous credit card scheme will not be in operation for any matches at Hampden. Further details will be provided to affected supporters in due course. Further information regarding the specifics of where you will be seated exactly inside the stadium, and entry to the stadium, will follow in due course. We appreciate your understanding on this matter and we can assure you the club is working tirelessly alongside our contractors to complete works at our home to ensure matches can be played there at the earliest opportunity. The club platform Ask Rangers has several answers to questions regarding the temporary move to Hampden and can be found here.
