NilNilDraw
Imagine every club decided ah feck it we'll just spunk cash we havenae got on some players we cannae really afford so that we can win a few trophies. Who cares about the mess we leave in our wake. The leagues would be an utter shambles. Clubs should be barred from paying money for players until all debts are paid in full. But they're not, so what's the fuss? A lot of clubs in Scotland seem to be in a decent financial situation. Plenty of positive results announced over the last few years. There are consequences to over-spending. Hearts ended up relegated and playing with a team full of kids. What more do you want?
NilNilDraw
"Hearts did not break the rules" where is the paragraph that says signing players you can't afford and winning trophies is to be commended and we will be happy for you to do it? That has no logical flow at all. Hearts did not break any rules. Some people are advocating stripping a club of trophies won despite the club having broken absolutely none of the rules for that competition. Consider just how absurd that sounds. Nope, they just shafted loads of people for a glimmer of success. Extremely justified.
NilNilDraw
Nope, they just shafted loads of people for a glimmer of success. Extremely justified. Again, trying the ridiculous suggestion that Hearts in some way planned to go into administration. Hearts won the cup, Hearts are in the top flight, Hearts are in Europe. Hibs are on their way to becoming a Pound Shop version of Sheffield United or Oldham. Used to play in the top flight, but nobody's sure where they are these days. Enjoy. One season in he championship is nowhee near enough punishment fro the crime thats the issue here. I've told you what should have happened. Dumped in league 2, signing embargo till all debts paid in full for starters. Hearts are now floating along as if nothings happened whilst others pick up the pieces. Administration is still an easy way out as long as the SPFL rules are so weak. Clubs should be hammered for choosing this option as the easy way out. So, because Hearts coped with the situation well, it's not fair? We had a 15-point deduction, we had a lengthy signing ban, we had a team full of kids and then we were dumped into the strongest second-tier in memory. Seems pretty tough to me. Just because the club rallied, doesn't mean it was easy. Thousands of Hearts supporters are paying money to fund the club, the stadium is full regularly. This has been hard work for the club. Your gripe seems to be that we have done well. That's not justice, you're just jealous. EDIT: Highlighted yet another example of the ridiculous assertion that Hearts chose administration. As if it was pleasant.

Lies and bullshit. Just like when the club robbed it's own support with that share issue.

Just like when the club robbed it's own support with that share issue. Flip that round. Did Hearts borrow the money with the intention of going into administration? If you really believe that, then you should seek help. I'll ask you straight up. Yes or no. Do you believe Hearts wanted to go into administration? Also, the club didn't rob the fans. Unless you deem robbing to include telling people that this is basically money you'll never see again. Hearts were quite clear about that and people contributed with their eyes wide open. As much as you don't want that to be true, it is.
Gaz FFC
Again, trying the ridiculous suggestion that Hearts in some way planned to go into administration At what point did it dawn on you that was the only way out? I can't remember how man years before it happened but it was at least 4 years prior I told a Jambo mate it was your only way out. For year Hearts fans laughed at the notion on these very boards. We're you 1 of the last to get the memo?
