How's the play been (and coverage)? Iv been working and only really seen the opening tee shots

Play as expected - good scoring on the front 9, much tougher on the back.

Coverage is pretty good tbh, with the obvious exceptions of Poulter and Faldo on commentary.

Coverage seems poor typical sky who will only focus on the names you won't get coverage of the plucky unknown who you would get on BBC.

Crowd seems small and silent , pricing issues have been well documented in recent years

Those graphics of the players walking towards the camera are usually fine.....but this week they have them checking yard books, putting on gloves and adjusting hats.

And yet Keegan Bradley looking straight at the camera still looked more awkward and staged than Garcia looking at his yardage book!

Much prefer the BBC myself.

There's something comfy and nostalgiac about Allis whittering off into some shite about "big, strong, handsome lad x/y/z" or some other nonsense. Ken on the course is also good.

Slightly underwhelmed by BBC's highlights package last night. They seemed determined to condense 12 hours play into 2 rather than focus on the, er, highlights.

Looking at today's forecast in hope rather than expectation, a day of muddy paths and soggy sandwiches looks likely. By 3pm, 'er indoors will be wishing she'd stayed indoors.

Someone telling him to GTF would be better, though as you suggest him just shutting up on occasion would be a start.

As much as he's a f*cking welt, some of his insight is very interesting. Sadly, those bits are little nuggets in a stream of tedious shite.

His one redeeming quality is that he isn't Faldo.
