Gordopolis
McGhee saying he's the next Dalglish: http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/teams/scotland/oliver-burke-can-be-next-kenny-dalglish-for-scotland-1-4229534 Fair enough if we get carried away Burke but not sure if McGhee should or shouldn't be coming out with such stuff. Perhaps he thinks it'll lift Burke mentally... but then that presumes he's actually thought it through.

McGhee might as well have said he can be the next Andy Goram. I quite see why McGhee comes across as so difficult to like. ETA: and what's with the constant references to Barrie McKay and James Forrest? They're both useless, and wouldn't be in the squad under a different management set up. McKay and Forrest are garbage. McKay is NOWHERE near international quality, the fact he's even yet to prove himself in the SPL. Forrest is on form, but up against a full back with pace he's utter shite. Far too easy to read if you can keep up with his pace (which isn't even that fast) Matt Phillips should be in the squad without a doubt.
Underpants Gnome
He wouldn't be surprised if McKay and Forrest became regular starters by the end of the campaign? Sure our current starting wingers with FAAAAR more talent are happy to hear that. McGhee is a p***k. woof!
McKay is the most talented Scottish player playing in Scotland. To those that understand football, it's blindingly obvious. It's also obvious he is a central midfielder and not a winger. He has the best first touch and acceleration of any Scottish player in the league, not to mention vision and weight of pass. When he leaves Rangers for a better league this will become abundantly obvious.
The Grass Is Greener.
McGinn is a far better player than McKay and will go on to have a much, much better career.

McGinn is streets better and he's playing in the league below, let alone the players that are currently in the same league as him who are better than him. You're saying we'll notice his talents when he leaves for a better league.. but he is in a better league now than he was last season so surely we should be noticing him now going by that logic? He has been guff for Rangers so far this season, and most Rangers fans I know would have said to you that Halliday was better than McKay last season, so by their opinion he wasn't even the best Scot in Rangers' team let alone in Scotland. I do see potential there, but at this moment in time he should be nowhere near the Scotland squad.

However, the ball bounced off him a number if times - a number of others had more consistent touch on the ball. No way is he a central midfielder either, though I do have time for him as a winger.WUM?

Someone said Forrest is in the form of his life at the moment, but he'll always struggle when it comes to international football. He's too sleight to be able to have a significant impact.
Gianfranco
McKay shouldn't be in the squad. He's simply not that good.
TheScarf
Is this Barry McKay who has only played 5 games ever in the top league in the Scottish football league system? Is that the guy who folk are saying is the best Scottish youngster?
LinkinFighter
He's been terrible whenever I've seen him. Wouldn't be in the squad if he didn't play for Sevco

RandomGuy.
I think woof was joking with that post, as there was a Rangers fan who made an almost identical post to that one before the season started.
