For those who didn't see it he basically said something like "we'll never change the way we play no matter who we face". A clear insight into the tactical genius that he is. They will win the league again, but there is no way MK is winning the play offs. Even with the helping hand they got from Buckie, they still fell short. The defence was leaking goals constantly last season, and it looks like it’s only getting worse. Huge turnover of players can not be good for a happy dressing room If its Edinburgh City in the play offs & they are still having difficulties financially I think whoever wins the play off between Highland and Lowland League will be firm favourites and if its Buckie or someone else other than Brechin that wins the Highland League a good chance they wont have Bronze licensing so EK may not have to be brilliant to be promoted. Hopefully Bo'ness, Tranent and Linlithgow Rose can challenge more this season.

EK will win the LL by a country mile, it’s all about how they play in the play-offs

Tranent looked to have recruited well for one, they may feel there is a bit of weakness with EK to be exploited. That being said, think they will still be favourites for the title, but not a runaway.

We are down arguably the best/most consistent player in the league in Skip going to Bonnyrigg, but agree that we look to have recruited well and plugged some gaps in the squad that were there before. Consistency will be the big question mark for us this season. Never quite hit a proper decent string of form last year and fell away because of it.
Simmsy
MK should be on the phone to the former Boness United goalkeeper from last year Musa. He played for Spartans as a trialist but not get signed. EK need a presence on goal and someone who can make saves.

I can only assume it was Ferry who was behind the Wilson signing, as he had signed him before.

K-Park is hellish to reach by public transport, which is no good as Musa doesn't drive. I'd confidently say he would be playing in the SPFL if he did. Unless someone's willing to detour to pick him up 2/3 times a week he won't end up at EK.

Guy has never managed a team without a comparatively HUGE budget - yes, even when he was managing at amateur level. The problem is it only takes you so far and for the budgets he’s had he hasn’t delivered comparable success. For me, teaming up with the likes of Ferry, who is more interested in his dreadful ‘lads’ podcast than being a serious football coach, was a massive mistake on Kennedy’s part. He’s reaping what he’s sowed imo. 100% this

Chris_the_rover
Interestingly I heard through the football grapevine, EK are trying to get rid of a few players, but the players are refusing to go as they are still under contract getting paid an obscene amount of money for this level

Chuck in that goon Ferry and it's some pairing. Add in the shite that committee man Ekok comes out with it really is a club and a half. Still they will sign another twenty players to buy the league yet again. Love to see their accounts. https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/SC524981/filing-history Edited July 17 by JCScouting
