Probably better to take a few years in the jail than murdered in cold blood for no apparent reason right enough. From there I'd have the cover of woods. I'd then make my way to Avon gorge, find a little nook on the edge of the gorge well away from any paths and hunker down until through the night. Next morning I'd descend down the gorge into the thick conifer plantations on the pathless side of the gorge. No one would find me there.
