Sherrif John Bunnell
The other results went against Deportivo, so they are relegated to the Liga del Seaside without kicking a ball. They will be in the same league as Celta Vigo B next season, which will sting a bit. Huesca also pipped Cadiz to the title.

Postponed; I think due to multiple players testing positive for COVID had a look on their twitter page-dont speak spanish but there was a video of torrential rain so im assuming thats it given the results tonight are they not actually down anyway?the only team they can catch are ponferradina,3 points ahead of them, and in the head to heads with them theyve won 1-0 home but lost 2-0 away Edited July 20, 2020 by highlandcowden

It's being played on 30th July. Fuenlabrada will make it into the promotion playoffs if they draw with or beat Depor. What a way to lose it on final game Albacete survived relegation though.
Carnoustie Young Guvnor
Sore one for Getafe, last season missed out on a CL place on the last day by losing, this season missed out on EL place by losing on last day.

Robin.Hood
Fuenlabrada confirm a further 12 positive Covid-19 cases. The club now have a total of 28 cases. This throws the end of the Segunda season and promotion playoffs into chaos. Bit of a disaster.
Sherrif John Bunnell
Sid Lowe has been posting updates about the Fuenlabrada situation today. It seems like the club and Spanish FA have agreed that the fixture can't be played, but the players are seething about it. https://twitter.com/sidlowe
Robin.Hood
After one goal for Barcelona, they are now trying to sell Martin Braithwaite. Leganes went down by a point with their second top scorer in La Liga on just 2 goals. The whole scenario was a disgrace
craigkillie
Yep, Leganes will hopefully learn their lesson and give their players a bigger release clause next time.

Salvo Montalbano
Even if they did could they have still brought another player in since this move was an "emergency ".Nope, Barcelona were allowed due to injuries but Leganes couldn't because it wasn't an injury issue. That's been the biggest element of farce (that and Barcelona should really have had a youngster or someone they could have played for a couple of games, surely?)

Release clauses need to be higher...... not that it stopped them getting relegated whatsoever. Can spend it now in the lower league whatever they got for him
charger29
The Spanish FA are recommending expanding the 2nd division to 24 teams (normally 22) for one season, likely saving Deportivo and Numancia.
