tirso
For the most part, gullible fools. But to be honest, you could have stopped at you 'genuinely don't understand'.Wit right there. Bravo

In some respects it could be good if they do as their vote share should be pretty low. Surely the SNP will win the vote here (albeit on a low turnout) quite comfortably. If the Gammons stand it can send another 'Remain' message from here. If no Leave supporting MEP is elected from Scotland it will be because the Leave vote is split between UKIP and Brexit Party, rather than any lack of support for Leave in Scotland.

The 6th, currently held by David Coburn, is up for grabs. I think it will end up going to the SNP. I think if you voted Leave and you still support the Tories you probably need your head examined. I don't think you quite get the d'Hondt voting system. Neither do I to be honest. The remain vote will also be split between parties, maybe including Labour. And the Tories will likely still be on the brexit side.

Only 2 things that are really unlikely is a Coburn hold or a Labour 3rd seat, but then anything can happen in a PR election.
Granny Danger
If Brexit is not resolved by September the Labour Party has the opportunity at conference to adopt an unequivocal policy in favour of a second referendum. That is what the overwhelming majority of members want. To do this they will need to be strong, focussed, organised and ruthless and not allow themselves to be bullied and railroaded into a fudged position by dinosaurs like McCluskey.

Yeah, it's not as if support for leave in Scotland was polling at 28% three days ago. It's clearly very popular.
