That piece is staggering.

Do these Orc idiots actually fucking listen to the BBC or do they not get a reception in their caves ?

BBC bias against them ?

Richard Wilson
Speirs
Chico
Kenny McIntyre

Im sure there was more.

Our Rep: ex Rangers manager McLeish

All spouted a one sided reason for the "grudge match"

Only defence from an AFC side was Willie on Saturday disgusted at the coverage telling everyone to move on and the history was not one sided.

This lot are more brain dead and arrogant supporting the New Cub than they were previously.

I did wonder that - all the coverage was former players or officials of the former club.

......and the token AFC rep McLeish even did some attempted doric accent suggesting "we da mind celtic".........which is a crock of nonsense, as we actually hate everyone south of Kincorth (just maybe not as much as the former club were despised).

The Durrant incident was brought up ad nauseum, but a surprising lack of coverage of Willie Johnston stamping on John McMaster's throat - the former club's fans invading the pitch when we were skelping them 3-0 at Ibrox in 85, two of our players being headbutted at Pittodrie in 82, John Brown booting f**k out of Jess, Stench Hateley's premeditated and unpunished assault of our young keeper in the league decider, Gascoigne smashing half our team with his elbows and Rowbotham ignoring it, McCulloch doing similar latterly and that being ignored - Ricksen's karate kicks (also ignored), Lafferty's ludicrous swan dive (red card for dons player)  - their fans showering Winters with coins when he was taking a corner in 2002 etc etc

Everything was from the perspective of the former club's visits to play these savages from a far away land.

The reality is that Aberdeen FC is a club that represents a community, whereas the former rangers were a club who needed hate and bigotry to thrive - they also represented that arrogant camel-coated tickly-handshake weegie 'establishment' - we knew that, we disliked them.

Maybe Sevco will prove to be different - but it looks like those Vanguard Bears and the likes will always need something to appeal to the underclass that exists in so much of west central Scotland, as well as too many places in rest of the nation............including parts of the north-east such as Portlethen, Peterhead and Portessie.

Times have moved on - but these people have not - despite their club being allowed to die.
