I'm a conservative. If something has worked well for our society I'm for keeping it the way it is. I can't say what other countries should do.

So like following the norms of Presidential behaviour, releasing his tax returns for instance? Many of the rules of American governance aren't codified, it wasn't considered necessary to consider what would happen if a greedy narcissistic conman got the job.

The Edward Snowden who revealed state secrets, the vast majority nothing to do with exposing wrong doing, harming the US's capabilities of fighting our enemies? Aye he's a hero right enough.

The US spends around 600 billion on defense, i'd say their ability to fight anyone isn't at risk. They were and probably still are illegally accessing peoples private and personal information.

Brooke Country High School here in West Virginia played a mostly black school from Pittsburgh called Perry High. The game had been designated as a patriotic theme for months. Their student section showed up like this.

The parents and teachers from Perry High threw a fit about this being "racism." The Brooke County School leaders have apologized for a "bullying" sign. They have promised to make sure their kids are reeducated in the values of "respect and dignity for all."

Part of the problem with highlighting Trump's buffoonery is that in the space of just 9 months he's made the ludicrous commonplace.

A year ago no one could have anticipated a U.S. Secretary of State trying to diffuse a potentially seriously damaging foreign policy issue by diplomatic means only to have his position undermined by the president via twitter.

His base is narrowing.  Maybe he's stupid or arrogant enough to think that base will carry him through 2020; if so he's wrong.

Here we go, "He cannae win the election!" starting again already. You people are self-deluded beyond belief

Anyway, despite the yawnworthy continuation of attacking everything he does, immediately and sans-facts, the administration seems to have handled the Puerto Rico effort well.  That mayor seems like a fuckwit.

I guess if you're so brain dead that your barometer for judging a president's success is how they much trigger libtards then I'm sure the Donald is doing great.

He's not giving them much else to judge him on though.

He's been pretty quiet about this mass shooting involving a white man compared to how vocal he was about some black athletes kneeling down during a singalong.

He offered warmest condolences.  What else do you want?

Watching the plight of the victims and their families get totally lost as Idiots everywhere begin to pre emptively make excuses for Trumps reaction (or not) and Americas idiot gun culture will be as embarrassing for this as it is for every other mass shooting that happens in that utter failure of a country.

The families are more than likely going to face serious harassment from the nutcases that insist on every one of these events being a false flag event. Utterly horrible.

You win if you had Senator Ben Cardin of Maryland in your pool for which Democrat would make the first uneducated statement about gun laws.

"How high does the death toll have to get before we enact real bipartisan reforms that will make the American public safer and reduce the risks that come with allowing such easy access to dangerous weapons primarily designed for the battlefield? Automatic weapons are not needed to hunt deer or ducks; they are only meant to kill people - and they do far to often in this country."

Automatic weapons have been almost 100% illegal and highly, highly regulated since 1934. These people don't even know the laws. It's always incredible because a Democrat makes this exact mistake after every mass shooting, yet they never learn. Maybe they don't even hear the mocking in their bubble.

I think you're right.  I also think he will be replaced by someone who is only marginally better.

I'd loved to have seen Obama take on the gun lobby even if he got absolutely hammered, instead he took the path of least resistance as he also did on Guantanamo.
