His real estate holdings and Truth Social investment are in the sh***er right now, so he’s about $300 million off the bottom of the Forbes Top 400 Americans List. Also, he’s skipped out of the trial, so we’ll see what happens on the Cohen case deposition in New York on Saturday now. I expect they’ll either try to move it again (unlikely to succeed) or Trump will drop the case. He thrives on all the bad publicity and spins it as a victim. TxRover Posted October 5, 2023 Share Posted October 5, 2023 Now confirmed Trump left New York midday Wednesday, after representing to a Florida judge he was compelled to be in New York for the week so he needed the Florida deposition to be delayed. It also appears that Trump’s lawyers in New York failed to appeal for a stay of the ruling from last week dissolving the Trump Organization and revoking its business certificates, which could be a critical error as it possibly prevents then seeking an injunction to hold the receiver process. They have filed an appeal, however with no emergency relief requested, and it will probably take 6-8 months to hear this appeal…meanwhile the process will continue.
