Dunno why this popped into my head, but mind the time Rudy Giuliani hosted a press conference at a landscaping company called Four seasons cause they forgot to book the hotel.

Good times.

Aye, it was next door to a porn shop with wanking cubicles. I think they just looked up Four Seasons in Yellow Pages and headed down there, having told the media the address. The landscaping firm made a fair wedge selling t-shirts about it.

Trump has dropped off the Forbes Rich List.  He will be livid.

Disappointed the expected broadside hasn’t been fired yet. His real estate holdings and Truth Social investment are in the sh***er right now, so he’s about $300 million off the bottom of the Forbes Top 400 Americans List.

Also, he’s skipped out of the trial, so we’ll see what happens on the Cohen case deposition in New York on Saturday now. I expect they’ll either try to move it again (unlikely to succeed) or Trump will drop the case. It’s been suggested all along he’ll need to avoid this deposition because it would be admissible in other cases.

I am surprised they want to have anything to do with Jesus.  He seems pretty woke to me.

Discuss.

I've seen a number of articles like this recently. Evangelicals realising that Jesus is holding their "movement" back.

I imagine Coutts will probably be dropping his account too!

Nah, the Donald has at least a million in cash squirrelled away somewhere, while after a lifetime in finance and political grift Nigel Farage does not.

Which is pretty embarrassing.

It's always been a point of puzzlement, how right win politics and Christianity seem to go hand in hand, despite being totally at odds with eachother. Indeed, it might be the only example I can think of where Religion has a better grasp of things than those free to think for themselves.

Trump is the real deal Teflon merchant, nothing will stick as far as his hard core support is concerned.

He thrives on all the bad publicity and spins it as a victim.

The worse thing that could happen to him is to total ignore him in the media, if that had happened years ago he would have been a memory by now but foolishly the Democrats have continually stoked his fire.

Only in America.

Generally because the “Christians” involved are barely literate in the Bible and the tenets of their beliefs. Evangelical church’s, at least in the U.S., tend to encourage their parishioners to accept the Bible in easily digestible chunks delivered by the church leaders rather than deep Bible study. When Bible study is conducted, the selections for reading/study skew heavily to the Old Testament, with the New Testament mined for support of the current “church” viewpoints.

For example, the rise of the “Prayer of Jabaz” school of Christianity, the idea it’s not wrong to prayer and expect God to provide blessings, in and off itself is contrary to the central teachings of Christianity, but has become a key driver in trying to “juice up” everything to appeal to a more materialistic society.

Now confirmed Trump left New York midday Wednesday, after representing to a Florida judge he was compelled to be in New York for the week so he needed the Florida deposition to be delayed. It also appears that Trump’s lawyers in New York failed to appeal for a stay of the ruling from last week dissolving the Trump Organization and revoking its business certificates, which could be a critical error as it possibly prevents then seeking an injunction to hold the receiver process. They have filed an appeal, however with no emergency relief requested, and it will probably take 6-8 months to hear this appeal…meanwhile the process will continue.

It also is amusing that Trump released a new screed on Truth Social last night attacking the judge in New York, a judge who will be deciding the case without a jury, and a judge who he will be testifying in front of in a few weeks.
