Pretty certain the rule book states Tuesday of the week following the next week.

Unless it is otherwise agreed between all parties. If Sportsound is wrong, then I am wrong, but they announced this coming Tuesday three times during the show. TBH a week on Tuesday would suit me better

A brutal game on a beautiful winter's day.

We continue to play with four centre midfielders across the middle of the park and none of them are capable of skipping past a man and getting in behind the defence. Ross Docherty is the only one of the four who gets pass marks for today's performance. Cairney, Gilmour and Crawford added very little, apart from giving the ball away (a hallmark of Robbie's career at Ayr).

Let's get McKenna a wee rest as well, someone pointed out today that he either rolls the ball back to Fleming or hoofs it up the park to nobody and sure enough, that's all he does. His defensive abilities don't outweigh Murphy's enough to warrant a place in the team.

On the plus side, great to see Craig Moore back in the squad and playing football after a long layoff!

Both teams could have played without a goalkeeper today and the score would have been the same, the biggest threat to the Queens goal was the big number 5s pass backs.

As soon as I saw Crawford and Gilmour out wide I knew we would struggle, It has never worked in the 3-4 seasons they have both been at the club

I trekked from the kingdom of Fife to Ayr to watch a spectacularly  mediocre game.

The only plus point from a QP point of view is that we were every bit as mediocre as our supposedly better opponents.

As I was the guest of an honest man I was camped in enemy territory. Glad to report that the queen's fans outsang their opposition.

Not sure how anyone found anything to sing about though.

Not a classic, but we were well organised and had the best of the very, very few chances. Credit to the stewards for their common sense in letting us downstairs. 192 travelling fans according to Ayr's twitter. It felt like more, but it's still a decent enough turnout. Good day out. Burst today.

About ten of us were late and had to be let in the back door so that might take you over the 200 mark

Such a beautiful sight

If only we could find someone else to pay for an upgrade we would have a 50000 seater stadium as well.

If only you could find a local millionaire who specialises in building fitba grounds without turning down his money.  Oh, hang on.....

Other than the excellent Harkins, who is always a joy to watch, I wasn't overly impressed with Ayr.  I felt we matched them everywhere and fully deserved our draw and a bumper payday from the replay.  I'll echo that it was good to see common sense kick in with the wee enclosure being opened for us.

Not the worst draw in the world for whoever wins tomorrow.  We're 150 years old this year; it'd be nice to add to our ten Scottish Cup wins.
