RedRob72
Was asked in the pub tonight, name your 3 favourite comics in 10 seconds! Pretty difficult when you're put on the spot!? Any era, any nationality, any genre, doesn't matter about the order, just try and post the first 3 that come to you? Went with ... Robin Williams Ronnie Barker Bob Mortimer They say your gut feelings are the honest ones!? Try it?

Alan Stubbs
Can't narrow it to 3 in terms of all time, so breaking the "any era" rule and juat picking a top three who are on the go. Dave Chappelle, Bill Burr, Louis CK. Very US-centric I know but I just find most of the current big name British standups shite, Kevin Bridges aside. 18 minutes ago, RedRob72 said: Was asked in the pub tonight, name your 3 favourite comics in 10 seconds! It's absolutely insane how quickly his mind worked. Absolute genius.

I'm a big Mark Steele fan but I prefer his "In Town" or lectures stuff to any out and out stand up that he does. I also really like Katherine Ryan

djchapsticks
Since Frankie Boyle dropped the majority of his shock act and basing his jokes around the framework of '(person X) looks like (person Y) fucked an (inanimate object) with (life altering disability)' and started providing witty and almost always insightful, cutting political and social analysis, he's been phenomenal.
