Diamonds are Forever
Really like Docherty as a player, but that is a crazy challenge. Apart from anything else it is totally needless, ball on the touchline in the middle of the park, player going nowhere and you get yourself sent-off and should have cost his team the game plus gets himself suspended. No_Problemo
Do the Ayr fans just think everyone is overweight? It was merely used as a way to describe him. The point of the post was the beauty of Jamie Adams giving the Dumbarton players the GIRUY.
Richey Edwards
What an excellent game We could not find a third, and that was a shame Ross Docherty, what were you thinking? A bad tackle on the touchline, have you been drinking?
ayrmad
Doc's and Nade's both reds under the rules, Rose's free kick was so perfectly placed that the keeper is still waiting for it to be taken, it's really hard to see from the highlights whether Adams' was a penalty but Moore's awareness was very good when he fell in the build up. callum-ayr
Can only imagine what some fans would be saying had it been Cairney or Adams who made that tackle, but because it's Ross faultless Docherty the blinkers are on. Straight red.

There's a couple of nutters claiming it wasn't a red but every other person has said it's a blatant red and incredibly stupid of Docherty as it should've cost us a crucial game. Adams and Cairney who have both had reds this season were hounded on here for their tackles, yet folk are defending Docs tackle. Find it inconsistent that certain players are given a certain amount of leeway by supporters.

Agreed and arguing about Nade's challenge being red is grasping at straws.

He's off the ground with no attempt to get the ball, surely if he was in control and not deserving of a red the ball would have been a valid target. Docherty was off the ground, nowhere near the player with his right foot that got the ball, wiped the guy out at pace with his left leg and everything else apart from his right foot. Yesterday he was very good, but in the past he's been guilty of not learning from stupid tackles.
