The Photography Thread

Recommended Posts

Went to S Africa in 1999 and spent the second week in Kruger.

The single regret was not taking a decent camera. If you’re going to go - and you absolutely should - take a half decent telephoto lens and you’ll get some amazing pictures.
Aye there was folk there trying to take photos with their phones through binoculars and stuff. A proper camera and a decent zoon lens is a definate must.

My wife was born in Zambia and a safari is something we've talked about doing for a while now. Looking at these photos and videos its made my mind up.

Well done sir.

Get it done Sir, we went to Botswana for our honeymoon and it was the best holiday experience I've ever had. Finished off in Zambia at the Victoria Falls, brilliant place.

Didn't have a proper camera with me (will head back soon with it) but it was nice watching the sun rise at Dunnottar Castle this morning.

I think you'll find the sun will have moved by then. Cracking photo though.

Just got myself a camera, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX60 it only cost £70, but was only looking for something very basic to get into photographing. Hopefully posting a few images shortly on here.

Out of respect to the thread, thought I'd chuck up the first photo I took. Whilst doing the dishes, this squirrel appeared in the back garden.
