doulikefish
Both Peterhead and Aberdeen at home not sure how much further away they would want to take it If they getting TV money might be happy to just stay at home and only sell however many they can.How many would it take these days......2000 ? Try about 500,they have got portacabins on one side of the ground for corporate
accies1874
Aye if Albion finally decide to host a premiership team at their actual home ground We played there in the Betfred Cup this season.
Ivo den Bieman
Can't see why Fraserburgh tie will be moved. The ground's big enough. Been some time since Montrose played Thistle so hope we can somehow get through tomorrow night... ...overall think the draw's quite decent. I understand why clubs do it as economically it makes sense, but it ruins the bit of romanticism of the cup a bit for me when the club makes it clear that making cash from a tie is more important than having an honest attempt at winning it. Twinkle
Looking forward to a trip to Alloa to be honest. Glad we didnt get a premiership or championship side. Been to all those grounds but not to Alloa's
HibeeJibee
Forres v Rangers was at Forres. Fraserburgh's ground is licensed and holds 3,000+. Why when anyone draws a "big team" do fans jump at getting it moved nowadays? FFS. EDIT: For what it's worth I doubt it'll move.

BWC14
Odds on Albion Rovers vs St Johnstone not getting played at Cliftonhill? From the 4 or 5 recent cup ties they have had at home against prem sides not including an away tie to Rangers you think they would have re-invested these extra gate receipts back into their ground, greedy b*****ds IMO and should be a limit on how many games can be moved. (That pish terrace behind the goal doesn't count as re-investing as it's shockingly shite)

Fraserburgh still seething from when ww beat them in a replay up there in 1996 to play Celtic... It's taken them 20+ years for a draw like this. They'll want as much revenue as possible whether right or wrong to move tie. Good luck to them.

HibeeJibee
In mid 2000s it was registered at 480 seated + 4,020 standing... It appears to have been reduced since to 480 seated + 2,520 standing which comes to exactly 3,000... So I wasn't far off. Even if that's wrong it must have some capacity set by the local authority - license requirement.

Radford
Was going to say I was delighted with our draw but that's been tempered by this chat that Albion Rovers move games. Surely not for St Johnstone? Been waiting 20 years for another chance to finally tick Cliftonhill off the list.

HibeeJibee
It's worth saying that the SFA are supposedly "cracking down" on teams moving grounds, anyway... after the nonsense of Albion Rovers in recent years, plus Bonnyrigg moving their game last year and being open it was about the money. As noted East Kilbride's game was also moved although that was done over their heads. If a ground is enclosed with a capacity, there should be no question of moving, unless there are legitimate safety fears over surrounding area. St Mirren kicked-up-a-fuss but LTHV weren't forced from Saughton, quite rightly.
senorsoupe
Celtic's draw home against Brechin should be straightforward given that City's 3rd round Scottish cup win was the first time they won in open play this season
