Just back from the game and having a few beers in the amazing Rotterdam cube houses. Had a good second half up till the equaliser but ultimately Portugal were technically streets ahead, we were physically much stronger but relied too much on the long punt. Without Kim Little, Jane Ross and an excellent centre half Jennifer Beattie who was replaced by Barsley, we were short of options. Agree with the comment about Lisa Evans, her confidence seems to have vanished. Shower of time wasters though. The atmosphere at the game was pretty good considering the crowd was only about 3300, far better than the England game, tight wee stadium at Het Kasteel.

For anybody who's interested I did a blog after the England game HERE

What in the name of f**k was that ref thinking reversing that stonewall pen???

Can only think one of the other officials said on the mic that it was involuntary ball to hand rather than hand to ball?? Pretty shambolic. No chance Scotland will beat that Spain side. Today was a big missed opportunity.

Typical Scotland.

Pat ourselves on the back for getting to a tournament then f*ck up through either lack of preparation or more likely completely mental weakness and lack of belief.

Belgium apparently have only 2 professional players in their side and yet they've won both games. Scotland look like a bunch of tired wee lassies playing hopelessly above their level....all that despite having a team filled with professionals.

How the f*ck did that number 2 ever get close to pulling on an international shirt ? I've seen 12 year old lassies playing doon the park that had more ability, confidence and fitness than her.

Not sure you used the word 'lassies' enough there. By the way, Belgium won only one game and exited the tournament tonight. And to use your favourite word, they are also 'lassies'
