Did we not get a £50k fine for not playing enough under 21s in a cup game because they didn't count the goalkeeper. Yeah reduced to £25k on appeal. I think local businessmen paid it (Charlie Parker etc).

That's the way I read it anyway. That's what I thought hence my post a few up asking opinion No, it says "the reduction of the fine from £40,000 suspended to £20,000 with £10,000 suspended". Thats £10k now plus £10k suspended.

Mordecai
No, it says "the reduction of the fine from £40,000 suspended to £20,000 with £10,000 suspended". Thats £10k now plus £10k suspended. Yeah, that makes more sense actually. Perhaps some pessimism creeping in on my part.

Gareth_Glasgow
Quite surprised but delighted with the decision, we probably have Neil Lennon and co to thank in part. Let's hope the team are fired up and ready to take advantage of the rearranged games.

It's also emerged that Erwin had it. Got me wondering how many other players have had it. I'm convinced Obika had it, and see how Cammy McPherson can't get a game? Blind speculation, but I wonder if he's struggling for fitness and, far from being dropped/not trusted, they're actually looking after him a bit. Jim has name dropped him as being part the future of the club in that PDE piece, so that suggests there might be more to it, IMO. Goodwin said after one game, think maybe Queen's Park, that Obika had had it.

Ric
I do think we've "lucked out" with that. The initial punishment was harsh, while the appeal has resulted in quite a light punishment (for the SPFL/SFA). We've been hammered far harder for far less serious issues. It'll be interesting to see the dynamic in the two games that were cancelled/re-arranged. Will Motherwell and Hamilton go into that assuming those were points stolen from them or will we go into it with attitude that we need to take the points after getting a second bite of the cherry.
FTOF
A wee bit more on JDH and the fact that he's suspended for the semi-final. Jim Goodwin updates St Mirren fans on contract talks with Jake Doyle-Hayes | HeraldScotland

I enjoy watching the graphic on the title race to see Hamilton and Motherwell rise up the table and then go back down again. Is that wrong? Ric
If people want a proper sized version of that, and without The Herald's plethora of Project Fear bullshit on the side bar, you can just view the page direct.. https://flo.uri.sh/visualisation/4950575/embed Edit: In case you didn't realise this, you can select the week to display by clicking the Week XX header.
