Mainstand Sweary Mob
If we are in for Matty Kennedy, then I worry that Jim will try and shoehorn him into the RWB position. Is he not more versatile? I though he could play not only behind the strikers, but can also be utilised down the wing? I thought in his time he had been deployed as a RWB before? He has pace, would this not be what we need as both Tait and Fraser are more defensive minded and Henderson is still young. Would the pace of Kennedy and the crossing of Tanser not be what is needed in the system?

I'm pretty sure Kennedy played RWB under McInnes last year and was largely ineffective/pish according to the Dons fans on here.
Ric
Kennedy won't be cheap, and I'd be very disappointed if it ended up a swap deal with McGrath.

If you believe the Record, and let's be honest that's always a hard ask, then it's apparently between us and County. St Johnstone are out of the race after having to spend way over the odds for MoH and Middleton thanks to them being linked to us. Underwhelming to say the least, imo. I cannot see what he's actually bring to the side that we either don't have already or would need to change the shape to accommodate. I could easily see him being utilised Durmus style as a wing back which is exactly what we need. Or just use Flynn there

NorthBank
I mean you'd hope so, and that's not meant as any slight on Aberdeen. With teams in the Premier League and Championship interested I doubt Jamie or St Mirren would reckon Aberdeen is the best option.

We are told every player we ever sign is pish by virtually every supporter of the club he previously played for !!!
Billy Jean King
Or just use Flynn thereIf we are looking for the WB to be bombing on and slinging good crosses into the box, that imo is not Flynn's bag at all.

ATLIS
What was Popescu like? He's free to leave Hearts and has been linked with us

That said, I'm surprised Hearts are letting him go. The majority of Saints fans would be happy to take him back, probably as a squad player.

ZingaliMan
I rate McManus anytime he stood in with the main squad he impressed me. Doing a great job with the youth set up has to be said.

Deary me, he's laying it on a bit thick, isn't he? Edited August 12, 2021 by Ric
Buttocks Brown
St Johnstone game to be moved from Saturday 28th to Sunday 29th? Unless I'm mistaken, they'll have a European tie on Thursday 26th.
