It's been kind of forgotten how shite he was until Ross brought in McGinn and Magennis to do his running in the great escape season. Let him concentrate on banging in 40 yarders.

Playing holding midfield with Kyle Hutton will do that to a man

It would seem that the SMISA vote on artificial pitches has caused a meltdown with Falkirk fans.

They seem particularly upset by P&B site owner.
Can’t see Div being that bothered. 😂

Hopefully this will see an end to the “love in” between the NB ultras and whether the Falkirk group call themselves.

While St Mirren upgraded their stadium at Love St to the Taylor report following Hillsborough other clubs failed to do so preferring to spend on players. Falkirk spent heavily on players back in the 90s while we upgraded our stadium. Brockville was heavily criticised by our fans when we took a decent away following there.

St Mirren met the criteria for promotion to the top flight by introducing additional seat capacity in 99/00 as well as putting in undersoil heating while other clubs failed to do so.

When we moved to the new stadium we had to adhere to the league rules and install two separate undersoil heating systems.

Nobody has a bigger cheek to be angry at this than they do.

I fail to see how a ban on artificial pitches in our top division affects Falkirk. Maybe they should focus on staying in the Championship this season and not get ahead of themselves after finally managing to get out of Division one?

I worked in Falkirk for five years, and Falkirk FC were one of our customers. A great ‘wee’ club with lots of great people working there (I have told my Alex Totten story before, great ambassador for FFC). Have used an FFC season ticket before to watch games from their main stand, and act as a neutral. Good set of fans. In my book, Falkirk are like many of Scotland’s good clubs - decent punters who don’t follow the hordes to watch the uglies. Like your Ayr Utd, Morton, Dunfermline and so on fans. We need more like them in Scotland….

….some of them are fcuking roasters though. 😄

The funniest thing about this is that Falkirk DID dig up a perfectly good pitch. Their grass surface was arguably up there with the best in the country, before they went to astro. Yet more short-term thinking from them IMO.

Was this the same time they canned their youth set up as well?

My list of things to ponder this close season so far…

1. Who are we getting in the European draw on June 19.

2. Who will we sign for next season.

3. What will the new strips look like.

(fast forward a few hundred thousand questions…)

What do Falkirk fans think about anything.

Hope we see an epic flag of all the championship clubs with artificial pitches similar to this ……

There’s so much to enjoy there, it’s hard to pick a favourite.
Winning the Championship and telling the “prem” to poke it is tremendous though.

Wonderful stuff.

No we didn't. It was a rutted mess by 2013.

No that was in about 2018. And that's not a very good 'gotcha' if that's your intention, as 99.9% of our fanbase were/are livid about that folly.

Is this the same Falkirk who were paying Stainrod and Waddle a fucking fortune while playing in that absolute shit tip Brockville? When we were forced to seat the Northbank and build the PDE stand behind the love street goal, in order to have a Premiership standard ground ?

Not many of the Falkirk fans giving a f**k about the bigger picture then.
