Worth mentioning that Strain received an  appreciative round of applause from the home support in the first half for how he brought the ball down and under control on the touch line. Outstanding skills.

Livingston have accepted a six figure bid For Bruce Anderson, from a team in Georgia. So we can definitely count him out of possible recruits.

We put in a 6 figure bid for the Irish lad

Anderson has to follow a strict diet and is diabetic , he may turn down a move abroad on that basis ?

I think what was very evident from last night was that we need two experienced strikers in relatively quickly.

We could probably survive the LC experience with one, with another to follow. However, going with Greive and Olusanya, even against lower league opposition, worries me somewhat!

Aye. It tells us all we need to know that it was Kiltie twice on the scoresheet.  He demonstrated a striker's instinct and looked more composed when the ball came to him.

Grieve and Olusanya didn't lack industry, but they aren't going to provide many goals. That's pretty plain to see.  Back-up options.

We must be due a signing soon . Would like Curtis Main before League Cup games , would Hope McMenamin is still about , and that we are also interested in signing a third attacking players .

Dons fan in peace.

Robinson can surely do better than Main with his network of contacts in England etc.

Curtis was a donkey up north and did next to hee haw.

Appreciate he may have had the odd good game but you can, and should, do better.

Curtis Mains work rate and style of play suits us . He had a score rate of one in four from open play which isn't too bad either . Hoping for a recommendation from Martin Foyle for another striking option , and that we can sort something out for McMenamin to complete our striking options.

We play in a closed door game today, would imagine it will be more of a youthful team with you playing last night?

Yes.

The assistant manager said as much in the post match interview last night.
