Apologies if its been covered by how did we loose Starkraft - was that not just for renting the car park - how can that be fucked?

I think they had provisionally agreed to use our car park as their “park and ride” and whoever negotiated the deal (probably Gardiner lol) pretty much thought it was signed and sealed. However Statkraft have now pulled the plug and are looking at other locations in Inverness

It read to me like a threat to the fans - start putting up money or we'll be be going insolvent.

That may well be a fact but it's some slap in the pus considering you've been paying Dunc £5k per week from a director and Gardiner absolute fortunes to make you em, more sustainable?

Actually feel sorry for you guys now. The laughing has just got sad. Fucking disgraceful from those that have been in control and it's only too familiar. Can only be glad that Gardiner wasn't in control long enough to leave us in a similar situation for the 3rd time.

Hope you lads pull through.

So approaching an insolvency practitioner for advice but not going into administration?

It's a "come and get me plea" but for investment. The insolvency advice is only going to be one thing. This is the football club saying that there are only a couple of days before the insolvency practitioners have officially assessed the situation and administration will be confirmed. If anyone wants to avoid that, they need to be providing funds now.

No acknowledgement of the events of last week with Morrison resigning. Nothing about the laughable situation we found ourselves in with Kelty / Fife Council. No apology for the lack of communication since the season ended. No apology to the supporters. Nice.

Did you expect anything else form that shower of shite ?

Clearly Gardiner is not writing the statements any more, that is fairly short and to the point.

Interesting that the statement frames the question as Ines “owners” - no-one owns the club outright and it would require buying the shares of a number of parties to do it. Also, we are in a terrible financial position, why would an investor not wait until we are in administration and then take over from there? The disadvantage are the points deduction but an administrator could cut costs, reach an agreement with creditors and then proceed on that basis.

Also, if we go into administration will we be able to play in the league next season, will we meet the criteria? What do the creditors say?

This could be the 1st instance and another test for the newish pyramid.

Is it League 2 or the SHFL for ICTFC ??

As the HL/LL are on and are members of the Scottish professional football board.

Savco can start their life in the North Caley League. There's a vacancy for an Inverness based team.

A good point, and one that any potential investor is probably thinking. Why would anyone chuck some cash into this situation right now when it might end up being lost in the event of future administration anyway, when they could just wait until the bones have been stripped and will be able to jump in and start from scratch with whatever is left of the club.

Also, would administration include starting the season with a 25 point deduction? I seem to remember that being what happened to Dundee, but not sure if that's the standard admin punishment or if that deduction was due to them being repeat offenders.

Why would it be either of those things?

If they go into admin then they'd still be in League 1, albeit with a 15 point deduction for 2024/25 and a 5 point deduction for 2025/26.

If they went out of business and a phoenix club was set up, or if there was a similar situation to the Rangers one with an asset transfer, then they'd be out of the SPFL and would have to apply to a league. The SPFL vacancy would, by precedent, be filled by East Kilbride as the losers of the play-off final. There would be no vacancy created in the Highland League, so they'd be looking at the North Caledonian League at that point.

Do the board of directors not have a duty to at least attempt to avoid an administration event?

The 25 point deduction for Dundee was because it was their second insolvency event. The rules say a 15 point deduction this season and 5 points next season.
