Arbroath's annual budget comprises a few charred haddock and a wheelbarrow full of Dick Campbell garden gnomes. It's why you've signed no-one except local farmhands for your entire existence.

You're trying to compare budgets?  Really?  And how is your clubs desperate "we need handouts to make it through the next few weeks" crowdfunder going?

Savage has been a lot more transparent that Morrison, Gardiner and co ever were to be fair. He’ll keep Jack Waddington and the lads in check.

Unfortunately I think a lot are heading there looking for explanations & answers - so there will be a lot of anger, stamping and bluster, however AS has made it clear thats not how it will be chaired. It could be a very tense evening

This quote from Alan Savage in the courier.

"The key is we can’t look back, the only solution is looking forward. That is what the meeting wants to be about. It is no good hanging this board, as they weren’t the people who have had any part in what has happened."

We have a local rivalry in RCFC (thats Ross County FC in Dingwall), so big infact its been live on National TV (more than once). Suppose when your derby V Montrose/Forfar or whoever is continually overlooked you'll try any effort to manufacture some kind of relevance by clinging onto a bigger team.

Quite difficult to maintain / get excited about a local rivalry, though, when you never get to actually play against said opposition. I can barely remember the last time you were big enough to play us, and the way things are going we may never get another chance.

I'd take this Arbroath offer, if I were you. Judging by this thread, most of you already have anyway - wittingly or otherwise.

The five stages of grief are writ large here. You guys have gone past denial and are now in the anger stage. The hitting out against teams that have feck all to do with your entirely self inflicted shambles is just sad.

Another Roy's Bounty fan triggered by statistics.

No. They're really not.

Well done for seeing what you want to see.
