Another budget signing TBH but that's what we're having to work with right now. Suspect Robbos hand was forced to bring in another wide man after Mulraney went off injured the other night.

From his profile I see Fraser was plying his trade for an Oz team prior to signing for Buckie in 2014, the HL is a tough proving ground for any young player and I wish him well trialling with us.

The HL player I would have loved to have seen in a Caley shirt was Forres Mech's Charlie Brown, when he was on his game he would have been a tremendous asset for us, back in the day I mentioned the same to Pele but he had already sounded Charlie out and he wasn't interested in joining us.

My Highland League source says he's just as good, if not better than Yule. He won player of the season last year.

It'd be interesting to know which school has produced the most Caley Thistle players actually. Nick Ross and Liam Polworth went to Charleston, Richard Hastings and Ryan Christie went to Millburn. There must be some better ones out there?

Grant Munro went to Charleston as well.

Stuart Golabek went to the High School, although i imagine my old school won't be topping any charts unless it's the amount of smackheads produced.

Not a 'better one', but Mark McCulloch was at Millburn at the same time as me.

ETA, as were Mark McAllister and Colin Mitchell, come to think of it - they were a couple of years older.

Is Nick Ross still without a club? We could really do with someone who can actually pass the ball and show a wee creative spark in the middle of the pitch and I think Ross could be that guy.

Gavin Morrison went to Milburn too. Doesn't really fit into the category of being better though

Really? Interesting move for him to make. Shame he never got more of a chance with us or Dundee.

Apparently so. I was very surprised, thought he would jump at the chance to come back (if he was offered a deal that is).

Jamie Duff went to the IRA. I had his geography textbook a few years after him.

I also own, and occasionally wear, a pair of Marley Watkins' old Puma Suedes, but that's another story.
