Arbroath not exactly chuffed with Large Duncs comments.

Statement pretentious when it states that Ferguson’s remarks are "damaging to the Scottish game as a whole".

What fuckin nonsense and ironic in that while complaining over Ferguson’s remarks they in turn attempt to discredit him to Scottish football, petty and childish.

No doubt Ferguson was wrong in what he said but the Arbroath board should have acted above it and not copied it with a tit for tat.

Surely Arbroath fans aren't stupid enough to fall for that?

If Arbroath beat Queen's Park certainly not one of them would on the match thread or on this one ever tell Big Dunc to GIRFUY.

Surely not.

Beaten by 5 goals at home by a team that had only 1 point out of their previous four games seems to give some substance to Fergusons remarks on Arbroath 'players downing tools on their club and manager' after relegation confirmed.

Doubt we'll see a Statement from the Arbroath Board.

You never know though, some of them might be up the road supporting us vs Montrose in the playoffs. ;)

If we stay up, I would be slightly sad to lose Arbroath, probably one of the better away days in the league, plus their fans aren't really that bad, also taking into account the absolute binfire that replaces them.

Heard a very concerning rumour today that players didn't get paid this week. If this is true no wonder most the team looked half arsed today. We are so fucked & if we go down it'll be catastrophic.

Had heard the same through someone who knows someone so could be complete shit. It's also not massively uncommon to happen at this level though.

Thankfully this is mitigated by having a squad full of loanees where it'll have no impact then.

Its a great game of pass the parcel.  We jumped the gun on a signing and apologised to Airdrie, who put out a statement.  Your manager was a fud, so your club apologises to Arbroath, who put out a statement.  Wonder who will need to apologise to Inverness tomorrow!

Well as we are more than likely to put out a reserve team against Queens Park next week we better get the apology off to big Dunc & Co now.

The usual loan agreement is to pay part of the wages so don’t think the club loaning players will be too happy!

It could very well be Chinese whispers but the financial state of our club leads to me believe it's very likely to be true

Aye Arbroath have completely chucked it since they got relegated  by us a a few weeks ago which hasn't helped our cause. Same time though we only have ourselves to blame. We have to deal with our own business & we haven’t done that

Can't really blame Arbroath their season is done & not in a good way. Their players aren't going to be diving into tackles giving 100% when they're probably working a part time job during the week as well they just want this season done.

Also sounds like the dressing room is a shambles right now.

Still hope for staying up ya reckon ICT fans?

Wouldn't want a relegation for ICT. Would be terrible for the Highlands in general and want the derby back ASAP!

More chance of you lot coming down than us going up anytime soon

Play offs will be tricky I can see us beating Montrose but Hamilton or Alloa worry me especially Hamilton 😬

I can actually see Airdrie beating QP or at least holding them to a draw but we've won at home 6 times this season in all competitions so I'm far from confident we'll get the result we need even if Airdrie do us a favour

I’d put money on you being ok in the playoffs.

Is that a vote of confidence for a Morton win?

We have previous, didn't go that well for Falkirk but I see they are finally coming back to the championship.

Probably 1 v 1 on Saturday, so how would that suit you.
