When Gardiner was at Dundee it got to the point that if a player was injured, the club wouldn't disclose what the injury was or how long they were out for, we wouldn't disclose how long players were signed for and a job for the boys culture was instilled with his mates taking up positions such as Bomber Brown becoming manager.

The warning signs were there and became fully fledged red flags after his stint at Hearts.

Your club's fanbase seem to be meekly accepting your fate that you could be fucked. As a Dundee fan that knows all too well about dodgy characters this Panos guy seems very much like a desperate throw of the dice to any shady character that is promising money with the likelihood that it's more dangerous than anything that came previously. See Dundee and Giovanni Di Stefano for clear parallels IMO.

There's an ominous and ironic feel to our last four fixtures of the season. I had the same feeling when I saw our last fixture 2008/09 was Falkirk. Scenario - We will draw with Cove Rangers meaning they survive, then losing to Dundee at home as their fans celebrate the title and sing us cheerio. Get pumped 3-0 by Accies on their own carpet and the unsinkable jobby fans go mad daft as their team moves above us off the bottom in the table. Final nailbiter at home to Ayr while watching the text as Arbroath (already safe) against Hamilton who just need a draw or us not to win to survive for another few days until the playoffs. Penalty to Ayr!

Getting into a relegation or play off battle with Hamilton has historically never ended well for us.

Maybe the Dundee mafia plan is to hold onto Dodds thus waiting for Dunfermline to empty McPake around this time next year when they are bottom of the Championship while we are getting pumped 5-0 by Kelty f***ing Hearts in League 1.

Dodds will need a blinder of a transfer window to turn this around, but its going to be all loans and free transfers, mostly youngsters via their management contacts and the usual well known journeymen who get passed around the clubs every window.

Finishing 9th is an entirely realistic prospect if Arbroath have even a slight improvement, but you could lose every game for the rest of the season and Hamilton probably still wouldn't catch you.

So to clarify and ensure no confusion, the real reason that the team is on the slide is not due to last week's comment that we have," a joke of an injury crisis", but now the real reason is that the players, "are not good enough" for ICT.

So there you have it, the players that Dodds and Roberson signed are shite according to Dodds.

So with all the experience and knowledge of the game the two of them, with no apology for signing the shite players, they are going to fire the present shite players and then they are going to plunder the transfer market and bring in more world class shite players.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if some players refuse to play, and who could blame them.

Honestly, it absolutely beggars belief and begs the question as to why any player wants to play for them or even sign for ICT with these two chancers spewing out utter anti player drivel when they should have the fuckin balls to admit they are not up to the job.

Same for any manager, Butcher signed a lot of shite so did Robertson on his first time as gaffer and same went his second time after we were relgated so did Brewster and Paterson. Its part of the process to see who fits. Problem here might be players not listening to instructions or making too many mistakes and the overall quality of signings is not better than the players who left in the summer. Not sticking up for Dodds here I don't know enough but we could have done better with what we had even if we had to play eye bleeding stuff to simply not lose games. Surely though having players like Deas, Allardice, McGregor, Welsh, Sutherland and Walsh fully fit and playing in the first team would have made a massive difference to both performances and results, it shouldn't be ignored. I have to agree with him and say some of these players aren't good enough, simple and you have to agree with him. These players should be moved on and someone else given a chance. Who gets pass marks out of the summer signings, Samuels? Heard positive stuff about him but if the falling out rumours are true he will have to be moved on as well.

For sure managers sign duds, Tore Andre Flo at 10 million or so for instance, but managers have to admit that the failure also lies with them, also this blaming all and sundry is ridiculous.

A good Manager takes responsibility for failure, whether it's the players or injuries, the buck as they say stops with him, it's called man management.
