Didn't mind Doidge, wasn't the best but nowhere near the worst we've had over the last few years. Hopefully we're now looking at a different level of player now that we're disgustingly rich.

Farewell my handsome hat trick boy.

With McKirdy going out on loan.

Both young and right-footed which worries me slightly. Would prefer some experience and someone left sided.

At this stage though cannot be fussy for centre backs.

I presume we want sell on value in anyone we sign these days.

Think whether it was injuries or just moving down the pecking order he always struggled if he wasn't starting or at least rotating in regularly. He's a streaky player so any time he's become peripheral he really struggles to make an impact when he does come on, as in recent times. Been a pretty good striker for us overall I would say, especially considering how much he struggled initially. Hope he has a good few years left in the EFL.

I obviously know very little to nothing about either but if just one of them improves us at CH, and one of Amos/Moriah-Welsh ends up doing the business as the more combative midfielder then between that and Marcondes/Maolida it looks like as decent as January gets. No idea what our best XI is right now mind you.

Triantis deal done according to the daily record.

Thanks TT................although if the Record said it was sunny I would get the waterproofs out just in case.

Trying to keep an open mind but to replace Doidge, a striker who was by no means perfect, but a threat and a handful with a literal child is absolutely wild.

Totally and utterly fed up with the club, hope I’m wrong but signing 2 20 year old centre halves isn’t the solution to our problems either.

When was the last loan player we signed from England with no connection to the club that went on to be a good player for us with the exception of CJ Egan Reilly? (Don’t say Will Fish, he costs us a goal every week).
