I suspect that almost any Scottish football fan outside Tynecastle or Easter Road would struggle big time to think about any kind of impressive Hearts (or Hibs) European result, run or performance. Hearts did OK against Bayern Munich sometime in 80's or 90's, and the highlight of Hibs European performances since 1957 was managing (just) not to get knocked out against the team from The Faroes.
