It’s annoying when that happens. Was it the Bangles version you posted?

We’re obviously getting a very different experience of the integration of YouTube videos within Pie & Bovril.

To simplify -

The Bangles’ cover version of Hazy Shade of Winter is better than the original by Simon & Garfunkel.

Agree with your choice. It’s the 3rd or 4th time in recent weeks that’s happened with YouTube videos.

The Go Gos Our lips are sealed and re-recorded by FB3 and I know Terry Hall wrote it, but what a song!!!!

Bit of a post resurrection but I saw this last night and thought it merited some clarification.

1. The song was co-written by Terry Hall and Jane Wiedlin (of the Go-Go’s) who were having an affair at the time, hence the song title.

2. The Go-Go’s version was released in 1981, whilst Fun Boy Three didn’t release their version until 1983. So either neither of them is a cover version or the Fun Boy Three version is.

3. Despite Jane Wiedlin being the subject of several of my less virtuous teenage dreams, I actually prefer the Fun Boy Three version of the song.
