The media are in lets get Strictly mode,

Apart from the beeb, they'll never let it die. They'll fight them on the beaches. It's all they have left

WTF would they talk about on breakfast, the shite just after that, the news at 1, the news at 6 and the one show if strictly disappears?

Dunno the pile on is getting pretty big now, with folk from 8 years ago joining in. Dunno what Laura Whitmore is accusing Gio of, inappropriate behaviour could mean anything. Her best pal was just dumped by him though, and she wasn't comfortable being partnered with him.

It's a toss up if Dressage or Strictly will get binned first. Miss Whippy is def out ahead of Gio at this point.

They should just can it now. Peaked several years ago and is now a parody of itself.

Too much money involved. Anton would need to be found baw deep in a 12 year old to get it cancelled.

Nah still to have a blind, deaf, one armed, one legged, purple hermaphrodite contestant, that identifies as an them.  Must be one out there somewhere.

Anton's the Ken Barlow of Strictly, he's going to be here still in his 80's now he's a judge.

JB from JLS confirmed as well.

The wife saw a documentary about him. It was horrible - he tells his missus what to wear, came across as really controlling.

He'll fit in well.

That's going to be interesting, might be ok in hold but out of hold he'll be wandering about not knowing where his partner is, unless the audience is dead quiet, the band and singer shut the f**k up, and he can hear her shouting directions to him. Dancing with props could take it to a new level though, unless he's got Daredevil level blind skills.

Toyah Wilcox, Wynne Evans (the go compare guy and Masterchef champion) and the resident doctor from BBC Morning Live (no, me neither) have all signed up.

If Toyah brings some of the harrowing routines from her Sunday Lunch YouTube shenanigans with her husband then we're all in for a show.

Christopher Biggins says Strictly Come Dancing abuse complaints are ‘rubbish’

Horrible Tory p***k in Horrible Tory p***k shocker

Obviously I don't know what went on, but from working on West End musicals back stage I know enough that professional dancing rehearsing is way more brutal than for actors and musicians, and much worse paid. Trying to get someone up to performance level from near zero in a few days or weeks would be exceptionally hardcore. I think it's possible that the shock of moving from the empathetic and feely world of acting to the industrial and physical process of dance was a culture shock too far for some of the complainants. I'm not ruling out at all that the accusations are sound and the behaviour was inexcusable, I'd just like to see the BBC tapes. Actors get hysterical at all sort of shit, it's in their nature, part of the job.
