On another site I'm on there's a guy who says he was a part of the selection process and got down to the last 20. He reckons there's 2 or 3 who have a genuine business plan with a chance of success and they get spotted very early on. After that it's about picking personalities, characters that clash, diversity boxes to be ticked and sex appeal.

One girl for example from Thailand- "My name Ting Tong I wanna be famous I know nothing 'bout business but luv  Alan Sugar."

Seems legit - sounds exactly  the sort of thing the production crew would divulge to a no-mark who doesnt make the show.

Most obvious firing of all time this week. It was always going to be Alex but boy did he seal his fate interrupting Sugars summing up

Genuinely thought there was going to be a double firing too

What's the point in having the PM pick people to come back to the boardroom if Sugar simply disagrees and changes who is brought back?  Defeats the whole point.  They'd be as well just keeping the whole of the losing team back every week.

Who they hell was buying either of those shoes? The trainer with the bow might have been alright....if there was no bow.

Sabrina again though

Second week in the series of most obvious firings ever. The only shock was that it wasnt a double firing with Kurran going too.

Two awful shoes but absolutely amazed that the trainer won. Usually, they get a bit of feedback from the buyers on these tasks but nothing was said this week to give any clue as to how the managed to get any orders at all

The treats for winning are getting worse!

There was a big massive dent in the wall. I know it's a famous place but it looked like an absolute midden.

I think I'm only watching this now out of habit.

Catching up on this.  In terms of the actual design of the shoes, I think Fleekies is better but they've misbranded it aiming at too young an audience.  The trainer looks like something for eight year olds.

Quite a few of the teams are clunking arsepieces, the guy Rick is a horrible huffy dickhead.

Kurran didn't get fired because he is quality viewing - he's so bad he's good.
