invergowrie arab
Despite a myriad of other options I stuck to Sunny T in Mennies last night. A tremendous pint in there and no hangover due to the fresh Scottish loch water it is brewed from.
King Kebab
Too late for solids, another couple and you'll get all the calories you need. Early flight, or is Bergamo worth a visit on its own? Here for 4 days, wife's idea for a wee city break, Bergamo is like visiting Paisley but the Alto is well worth the visit if your into your 1000 year old buildings and pizza, it's also just down the road from Lake Como, where we're spending the next couple of days!! It's been a lovely wee break and ideal if you fancy fitting in a Milan game. Tickets only £40 return with Ryan Air!!!

Was wondering why my eyes were starting to feel pished and like they were starting to birl about and noticed on the tap that this stuff is fucking 9%!!! And I've no even had any tea yet!!! #prayforkk I've not retried it since going off "normal" lager. It can't be as bad as I remember if you're on your 3rd. I'm wary though, there wasn't much I couldn't drink, but that was one of them. Would you recommend it?

I know what you mean, I've not drank it for close on 30 years, used to drink it so my pals knew how tough I was because it was fecking vile.

The Ginger Prince
Bit late to the party however I knocked back about 7/8 pints of the stuff in Dalkeith on Saturday. It really is a gift from the gods.

Good luck on your quest to have Mill removes. I don’t know if he likes Tennent’s.

Finch road
In this day and age how do places like that stay open? Seriously, who finds that shit acceptable?? Fosters was and always will be horrible. If you have a pub in Scotland you have to sell tennents. Then supplement with whatever premium/ipa whatever takes your fancy but the other (jakey) pub makes a packet and 90% drink tennents. Maybe they are at ransom to brewery? I'm not entirely sure how it works -

Not likely to happen now, I keep a very well stocked drinks (lets call it a) cabinet but back in the day if I didn't have lager or wine in the house I'd mump and moan and not drink. I've never been a spirits fan although there would always be the odd half bottles that mates had left and I had a bottle of mead that I couldn't shift for love or money. While I'd hardly call myself a purist, I know what I don't like, easier to keep well stocked. Pubwise, I've been known to slum it and drink Fosters/Carlsberg, I'm a bad man.

There’s a time and a place for a dark fruits - it’s a nice entry point when hungover, or if you’ve had copious pints but don’t want to go on the nips. It shouldn’t be the staple of a days drinking though.

NJ2
Perhaps one for the price of a pint thread but I enjoyed 5 pints of the golden stuff last night at a tremendous £2.79 per pint. Today I will be paying £2.80 per pint but it’ll still be a tremendous pint.
