At this difficult juncture in our (unbroken) history where we consider the appointment of a proper Rangers man as manager, to undo the nearly terminal damage inflicted upon our beloved club by the last incumbent - a tarrier bhastard if ever there was one - we require our loyal fans to show their considerable, world renowned,  forebearance and patience, as we sift through the plethora of candidates, some of whom have even scored the winning goal at Parkhead, although not necessarily for us.

We cannot contemplate another mistake in filling the hallowed office that is that of the Rangers manager, a position coveted and envied in equal measure by those unable to fill the shoes of the legends who have mounted those famed marble stairs, upon which many have gazed in wonder and awe.

For some the task is too much - but we should not criticise those unable to shoulder the onerus and lonely burden which is that of the Ibrox manager, the repository of the hopes of thousands, nay millions, of staunch fans the world over, and the custodian of the revered traditions that are the hallmark of our club, a club like no other.

So, our fans can rest easy in their beds this evening, content that we will leave no stone unturned, no corner unsearched, no avenue unexplored in our quest for our next saviour, and the fans can also be reassured that a significant warchest awaits the anointed one. (The warchest may not have any money in it, but that is another matter.)

We go forward, confident that all necessary measures will be in place to assure that we will once again attain the heights of Scottish football, and retain that position against all comers by our customary skill, good humour and humility. Our foes will look on in baffled bemusement as they are confounded at the lastby our gallant players, who will receive the rightful acclaim of our supporters.

Not quite classless enough, but a bloody good effort.

Better, but needs more mention of the invisible forces at play and an insinuation that s1jobs is a bit catholicy.

King is sitting in South Africa right now trawling through the extensive list of candidates.

McInnes. Too much compensation.
McLaren. Wants too much money.

Big Hoose guy. Staunchly Rangers minded and won the treble with Rangers on Football Manager.
Murty. Won a few games, is cheap and does a nice haunstawn.

It will be Murty.
