There was some fundraising of course (my own hunner quid went into the stand fund :thumsup2) and East Lothian Council seem to be more sport focussed than Edinburgh City Council

The folk who done the fundraising must be good if they squeezed £100 out of you😀

Re the City stand I think its a hidden statement for we're skint and don't have the dosh to build it.

Rosyth say they now expect to move to Pitreavie in November:

How can a "protected walkway" be remotely acceptable given the building is probably 70/80 yards away from the pitch?

Majority of Scottish projects are Strathclyde, but well done to these EOS clubs who've received facility grants under UK Government's direct funding:

Multi-Sport Grassroots Facilities Programme projects: 2023 to 2024 - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
Grassroots facilities across Scotland to benefit from £6 million of funding | Football Development | News (scottishfa.co.uk)

Blackburn United                 £9,000 towards £15,000 artificial pitch repairs
Dunipace                                    £539,000 towards £719,000 pavilion replacement
Haddington Athletic           £13,000 towards £26,000 floodlights upgrade
Hill of Beath Hawthorn     £4,000 towards £7,000 grass pitch improvements
Newtongrange Star             £25,000 towards £50,000 solar panels

Indoor pitch of some kind also going up in Grangemouth.

According to Stoneyburn's twitter feed, a 3G pitch is set to be installed at Beechwood Park.

A welcome addition - whilst clubs like Lochgelly in EOS 3rd division have played 21 games, Stoneyburn have played the fewest league fixtures with just 14.

They have had 6 home league postponements alone thus far this season - 5th Aug (Linton), 7th Oct (Pumpherston), 21st Oct (Hawick), 30th Dec (W Calder), 20th Jan (Linton), and 24th Feb (Livingston).

It's the 5-a-side pitch behind the goals that is being replaced, not the main pitch.  Think it's being increased in size to accomodate 7 and 9 a side.

Lochgelly well known for its piping hot sunshine and lush beaches so obviously able to play more games

Someone on Nonleaguematters forum has suggested Peebles are officially leaving Whitestone Park now.

I don't know if the new pitch/facilities at Violet Bank has been approved yet

You've knocked the wind (and any optimism I had) right out my sails.  😞
