The Grass Is Greener.
Can we start our own thread. The Hibees contribution to the banter years. We don’t even have to be playing them to get them absolutely beelin. I genuinely prefer the seethe from **** to the happiness of my team winning. I need my statement fix.
Bairnardo
Rangers are slowly becoming submissive. They are scared to approach McGeouch because the dont want him to give them a hilarious public KB. The banter years have ruined them and it is just so fucking funny.

Next step qualify for Europe this season. Compete for second position next season and win one of the cups maybe and then go for the title season 2019/2020 maybe fighting for a league and cup double. Those are more realistic targets and financially viable within their budget without running excess debt chasing the dream. But unfortunately for the bears themselves the only target is to beat Celtic and all that matters. Wouldn't matter one fucking jot for The Rangers fans if The Rangers finished in 5th position as long as Celtic finished in 6th position. 1964/65, Rangers 5th, Celtic 8th. Those were the days!

The Scott Allan transfer is my favourite bit. Probably more than the cup final because that’s all happy thoughts for me, that day is all about Hibs. #handitin was proper lol basically bitch slapping them in public, not bending over to the media tactics they always use. They just don’t have the power they once had. Reality check for the **** fans. Then Celtic step in and we get mcgeouch and Henderson and money. Purchase John McGinn with the money. It’s surely the best value transfer in Scottish football history.

Would need an extra chapter for Tony mind you. I think that place was nuts from the start. I was a newbie back then.

They've put far too much emphasis on signing "big name" players (Barton, Alves) with no consideration of how that affects the team structure or their other players, e.g. Bates getting cheesed off with being offered buttons while Alves / Cardoso are on big money. The comparison point for them should have been how Celtic went from being a pretty poor team in 94 to being competitive with Rangers by 96. Aye they spent some money on big-name foreign players (Thom, van Hooijdonk), but it was mostly signing lower profile / cost players who were good value (e.g. Jackie McNamara, Tosh McKinlay). That established them as clearly the second best team and they were able to kick on from there. To give a modern example, it's bizarre that Rangers aren't being linked with signing Dylan McGeouch. He's out of contract, won't cost a huge amount in wages and is clearly better than some of the rubbish they have in their midfield just now. It's hardly bizarre now is it, with the uncertainty over Graeme's future.... Defence needs to be the priority, not the midfield which really just needs another dm.

They came up through the divisions and are now bobbing along in the top six. Along the way they've lost millions of pounds and although they've spent millions. they've no where compared to the **** , who in last 6 years have had no debt, made millions and spent millions and built a team on a good strong foundation. Properly run there's no reason why the **** shouldn't be able to compete for second place eventually. But I cant see them ever competing with the ****. why is "dons" asterixed?

Nae surrender It’s the delicious irony throughout such a simple statement. The fact that literally all they have left to play for is 2nd best. The fact they’ve never finished as high as 2nd.The amount of absolute wasters who follow them claiming they don’t accept ‘failure’.The total lack of awareness of how funny it is [emoji1]
