Monkey Tennis
I find the decision baffling. I'd seen nothing in the first half to suggest the pitch was especially dangerous. If we have a pitch that really can't cope with a chilly day, that's a problem.

It will be cold no doubt but with the 3G pitch it will be playable. Pitch was fine yesterday. Not sure about this morning given it was -6 overnight and they are good down to about -4 but it's not forecast to be any colder than -1 the rest of the week. There's no snow in Dumfries at the moment. 16 minutes ago, Monkey Tennis said: Well this is awkward. Guess we can take SD’s comments with a pinch of very expensive salt. stumigoo
Incredibly strange situation. The issue isn't the pitch per se (and Twatter is full of people bleating about the mystical "all weather pitch") but for a decision to be made before the game that it is okay and then for that to be reversed at half-time is just ridiculous. Seen various stories about both teams calling for an inspection but also both teams apparently not calling for one so hopefully the officials clear it all up. Feel sorry for any fan who travelled today.

Northfield 53
Amazing decision from Craig Thomson . Both teams wanted to play on as did both managers but Craig Thomson decided it was to cold for him. Pitch playable no problem in the 1st half
