Wishaykillie
Think this is Hamilton Accies at some point in the early 50's.

Doesn't look like red and white hoops - look at the collar. The socks and shorts are wrong too according to http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Scottish_Football_League/Hamilton_Academical/Hamilton_Academical.htm More like yellow and black perhaps? Alloa or East Fife?

Are the hairstyles not a bit earlier than the 1950s ?

Alloa or East Fife? My Grandfather is top right, John Irvine, the picture is up in my parents house. My dad was born in '55 so he thinks it's definitely before he was born. He thought it was Accies so that's all I was going with. Hope some of the vast knowledge on here could nail it down.
Ranaldo Bairn
John Litster only has one John Irvine but that was in the 80s and 90s he played. There is a John Irving who played for Accies from 46 to 48. He was a left winger but only ever played twice; in 47/48. So your dad may be right@wishaykillie but that's a gey weird Accies strip. Unless it's Burnbank Athletic, from whom he was signed.
Flybhoy
Paul McStay in a cracking Celtic away strip, exchanges pennants in Sporting Lisbon (2-0 defeat on the night going down 2-1 on aggregate) before a UEFA cup tie in October 1993 with a young striker by the name of Jorge Cadete who would feature heavily in Celtic headlines in the years to come, as well as in implications for Jim Farry and the SFA.
